Of course, I’m sure there are people in southern Europe with higher than average nafri dna, and I wouldn’t consider then white, but on average everything north of Calabria is good enough. That’s not to say they’re the exact same as Englishmen, but they’re white to me.

There were later anti-Islam purges, but these took place over a century after conquest, by which point I imagine most Sicilians had already converted back to Christianity.

Because of Normans they actually have less of this though than Calabrians, who are browner genetically, but this is geographically unintuitive so people ignore it.
