>>405388945 cal M3 Submachine Gun (aka Grease Gun). Cost the US Army about 15 bucks apiece If I remember correctly. Fun as hell to shoot. You couldn't hit the broad side of an elephant's ass with it tho. A retard could field strip it blindfolded in about 30 seconds.
How was the combat effenciency of the M1 Garand (a semi auto) being used as a rifleman's weapon against the Germans' K98k (a bolt action rifle) ?I imagine infantry on infantry encounters would rarely be in favor of the Germans.
>>4056405Garand is a better rifle one on one, but German infantry squad was solely based on supporting the machine gun like the MG34 or MG42 while the American squad largely relied on BARs with 20rd mags. The heavier machine guns were usually given to heavy weapons platoons that were piecemealed out to squads when thought they were needed, while Germans had every squad with a MG34.Different approaches that, honestly, probably favored the Germans.
We really need more Luger pics
>>4058886I think this is from the Korean War. Still a cool pic though.
>>4047422How much gold decorative faggot shit do Nazis need? Especially since they’ve never won a single fucking thing?

Japanese Type 99 rifle.
>>4056405And they all used the same ammo. 8MM Mauser. The 34 and 42 were an everything MG. They didn't have all the different light, medium, and heavy MG. Like the other anon stated, their squads were built around the MG, not hodge podge together with maybe a MG or some other squad automatic weapon.
>>4062318The type 99 actually had anti-aircraft sights. Japanese troops were expected to shoot at low flying planes https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sjGgL93_rfw
