I never had a consistent style of rendering, so I decided to study various different styles until I found one that I liked.This is a 5-minute study of a watercolor style of rendering. I know that it looks incredibly gay, but I like it. Focus more on the cat, what do you think? I think that I'll start rendering this way from now on.But this poses a question, how will I render scenes that are in dark places? This type of rendering only really works for bright scenes, typically with white backgrounds. But if I were to do something like the 'loisa guitar up above, then this type of rendering wouldn't really work.I don't want to completely switch the type of rendering every time the lighting changes, so if I want to do this style, then I need to figure out a way to do darker scenes with this. Which I cannot.

Ever since The Cat Eloisa died last winter, she hasn't come back. Her dying wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but I am now sure that this time it was permanent.The reason why I started drawing, and why I kept drawing, was for The Cat Eloisa. But without her, I don't really see any drive nor motivation to do it. I do not draw as much as I used to, and I doubt I will be all that active again in the Funny Animal production department. I am not quitting drawing or anything, as it is still a fun hobby, but it will definitely take the back seat, as it already has for the past few months.
