Whats it like?
Having an artist gf?
>>
she sucks and cant take crits for shit cause 'my style'and 'my expression' but the pussy game A V E R A G E
>>
>>5752732
We bounce ideas back and forth. We inspire each other.
>>
I would hate to have an artist gf. I want me a stem-stacy
>>

Asking that on 4chan
>>
>>5752799
Yes, im asking that on 4chan you basic bitch.
>>
>>5752732
wanna try it ;)
>>
>>5752732
you should post work so we can speculate on how likely you are to get an artist girlfriend.
>>
>>5752817
yes, but you are not a woman
>>
>>5752821
how about I just turn your butthole inside out with my monster cock
>>
>>5752732
It's like having a homeless person as a gf.
>>
>>5752732
Good, you can get drunk and draw each other nude. Back when I used to drink. And back when I used to have an artist girlfriend.
>>
>>5752749
Stem Stacy, first time ive heard of that one.
>>
>>5752732
Mine is bad at taking critique, but she’s genuinely talented. She’s also a fucking asshole but good at taking care of things at home. Mine is redpilled so that’s a plus.
>>
>>5752876
> Mine is bad at taking critique
She is a girl anon. When you criticize a girl she will take it as if you hate her because you make her feel bad.
>>
>>5752891
i just say “women moment” when she does
>>
>>5752749
you'd be surprised to find out how many of those actually have artist boyfriends/husbands. Then again, you'd have to not be emotionally retarded and that is a serious problem for the average 4channer.
>>
>>5752876
why is that girls are so confident with their beg drawings?
They don't care it looks wonky but go ahead and render that thing
>>
>>5752839
you should start drinking again
>>
>>5752950
It’s a bad idea. Think I’m done for this lifetime.

Whats it like having an artist bf?
>>
>>5753277
I had one.
It wasn't anything special.
I'd draw him sometimes, or I'd draw us (nothing big, just cute stuff).
I'd ask him to draw me sometimes, but he just laughed at me every time. He draws his other (girl) friend a lot though; made me feel like shit.
I'd commission him, he'd accept, and then tell me a week later he doesn't want to do it.
He'd never show me his art unless he was asking for help. He knew I liked his art though (saw his stuff before we got together), so I never understood why it felt like he didn't want to show me his drawings.
>>
>>5752732

>>
>>5753367
jesus christ get out of the manosphere and try actually interacting with a woman for once in your miserable life. you don't have to be angry all the time.
>>
>>5753511
There are more mental states besides "crying" and "anger".
I'm rarely angry.
>>
>>5753555
you have such an obvious resentment towards women, pal. see a therapist.
>>
>>5752732
I'm not an artist by any means but I browse here occasionally to show ideas to her and out of boredom. She's amazing in my eyes. Whenever I make a video game character, or even something like a vaguely stupid concept she transforms it into a genuinely good piece of art and it blows my eyes. Worth it, bros.

Eh, women really disdain weakness. Sure, not temporary displays such as a moment of emotion, but if they lose respect for your emotional strength they’ll drop you, eventually, for some reason they try but can’t explain.
>>
>>5753277
My poor wife has to deal with my awful self care (up all night, dont eat for a day or more at a time) and lack of responsibility for anything but my art when Im in the midst of a project. During the week I run a very successful business, youd never guess I was this way.
>>
>>5753511
Women like aggression. They like men that are domineering and strong. Why do you think when I start hitting and yelling at my gf, she gets wet and submissive? Fuck it, why do you think women suddenly get all skittish and nervous when you start advancing towards them even if they’re backed into a wall or something? Shit like that turns them on.

Men feel emotion, yes, but if you need to cry then it’s best for you to cry in private where no one can see or hear you.
>>
>>5753741
it's so tiring
non aggressive guys, how do you cope?
>>
I'm "the" artist gf. My partner really likes it, and he really likes posing for me as an anatomical/lighting reference when I get stuck on something (his job means that he's INCREDIBLY fit and vascular and I can see every muscle). I think he gets off a little on knowing that dude's are cooming to what is effectively his body.

He says he jacks it to some of my stuff sometime, makes it hotter knowing that I drew it apparently. Pretty based if you ask me.
>>
>>5753762
Just pretend by using sarcasm and observations masked as jokes. You can psychologically invoke the same reaction out of a woman (or man) as you would with aggression or confrontation by using wit and bluffing.
People don't know the lengths you are actually willing to go to. They don't know if you are just joking or threatening and it excites them that they can "RP" a situation with the pretense of taking everything back if either party decides to back out.
Take a situation where you are trying to get a girl that you already know well into progressing to a relationship. If you approach it seriously you leave room for awkwardness and failure. if you approach it as a game of wit you leave the option for her to gracefully bow out and save yourself the shame of rejection.
It's essentially the "imagine if we made out right now haha jk... unless?" but done with a brain and subtlety. You both know you are playing a game but she doesn't know that you are scared shitless and not confident, she just knows what you project to her. And if you are entering the situation as if its a game with no consequences then you should be confident and competent with no worries at all.

When you talk about it this way it comes across as manipulative and cold but this is how most people subconsciously approach healthy dating, they train to do this as teenagers naturally until it evolves into something smooth and natural. Us autists have to learn the hard way.
>>
>>5753583
Youre saying that like its something wrong.
>>
>>5753780
You mean being passive aggressive?
>>
>>5753367
Nah. My boyfriend's old ass childhood cat died recently and I guided him into the bed, put him under the duvet, and held him as he cried. It's a myth that all women want their men to be stoic, emotionally defective robots.

If you count long distance, I had one for a bit. We'd drawpile all the time which was pretty fun. We'd draw a lot of porn together despite me never drawing porn before that.

Ended up dumping me after she said she wanted to lose weight and I admitted like a retard I wasn't attracted to skinny girls in the slightest
>>
>>5753803
I'm 99% sure you're a guy hopeposting but most women are like that. My ex literally dumped me a day after my dad passed away so I'm not so keen on being vulnerable around women again. She literally told me that she "doesn't like" how I'm handling it on the very last day we were officially together. And I cried as little as possible too.

Even if some tiny minority of women don't despise men who are weak it's not worth risking it. Just cry alone. No matter how massive or a crisis you're going through, if you break that illusion of a dependable emotionless rock it's probably over.
>>
>>5753803
that's justifiable and even then that's grounds for divorce.
Also no one likes crybabies. Not guys, not girls.
>>
>>5753798
this.
if you win over a girl by wriggling around, they'll probably think you're just trying to pick up any girl and won't take you seriously.
if you want a firmer relationship, you could try respect and sincerity, maybe a little humor or just good naturedness.
i know its a heckava lot harder than this sounds.
i had an artist-artist relationship once, and it was divine. we drew together, boosted our gains by 100, helped eachother's projects suceed and learned new skills because of it, our worldview was perfectly in sinc, and we could grind companionably for days, showing work occassionally. it was like heaven. before asked, it only ended because of rl practicalities. there was not a single negative memory except the last time i saw them, only because i knew i couldn't see them again. good times.
>>
>>5753810
You're 99% wrong, but in genuine sincerity, my stomach felt heavy reading that and my heart hurts for you. That's a terrible thing for a person to do to anybody, let alone somebody you're supposed to be able to be emotionally intimate and vulnerable around. It sounds like she's done irreparable damage to you and I wish I had some nice words to make it better, but those sorts of words don't exist, so I'll just say that that woman sounds like a fucking monster and you didn't deserve that.

I never liked the platitude "I'm sorry for your loss". When you're actively grieving it very quickly becomes hollow and loses all meaning, to the point of it becoming enraging, or at least that was my experience. Grief is such an isolating experience and something everybody ultimately experiences alone, even if you're surrounded by people who're all grieving the same thing. I am sorry though.

t. somebody that emphasises.

>>5753815
I don't think crying due to grief makes you a crybaby. Pets are family too.
>>
>>5753821
I get tears a lot when I see beautiful things or sad things. For example, if the sunset is beautiful I tear up a little because I'm happy to live in this place, or if there is something sad like a kid doing drugs or maybe a sad part of a movie.
I'm an artist. what can I say

but because of frustration, anger or (personal) sadness? that's cringe

>>
>>5753854
same here anon, nice descrips.
it's all good, happy couples can be hard to see, and might feel kinda off if you're living the hard life, so i feel you. hope things get better.
>>
>>5753798
No it's not really like that. It's hard to explain I guess. It's more like being playful and fun but always offering chances to let things get romantic or to break away without any hard feelings.
Always being able to read your partner or friend for cues to change it up in your favor instead of waiting for the stars to align.
>>
>>5753846
I think it depends a lot on how "valuable" (horrible way to describe it but whatever) the partner who breaks down crying is. If they are someone you see as more attractive than you, more successful, more responsible, more dependable, a rare catch, a bigger network and more options to pursue, then the you will tolerate a lot more moments of out of character behavior or "weakness"

If you already have a ton of small problems and doubts about your partner and then they suddenly show you they can be worse, you will use it as the motivation to leave regardless of the fact that they have a logical reason for breaking down. And then person who was dumped will just think "it was a perfect relationship until I cried :(, what a bitch"
>>
mine was a piece of shit, unfortunately even being devoted to your craft doesn't mean you don't have room to be a shitty person at the core.

The girls I dated where all newbies to art, but through their and my interest, I found a way to groom their skills. My first gf would draw me cute pictures all the time after a while, I think I still have them since throwing away gifts feels cruelly rude. My last gf is where i honed my coaching. she went from /beg/ to actually respectable, going as far as being an artist vtuber after we broke up.
I miss them, and looking back I wasn't a good person for them. But, I've grown as a person learning from my time with them. Now I'm an amateur artist whose done his first commission, I'm getting /fit/, and my crippling desire for a romantic relationship keeps me from straying too far from my lanes. Just hope I manage to keep going before i burn out permanently
>>
>>5753803
>It's a myth that all women want their men to be stoic, emotionally defective robots.
Just because one doesn't cry doesn't mean he's an emotionally broken, there's plenty of other ways to show emotions without tearing up.
You make it seem like crying is the only emotion that humans are capabel of.

I'm the artist gf. I'm bipolar so I'm sure I fucking suck but my husband is also on the spectrum so maybe he doesn't give a shit. he's not really a stem guy or art guy more just blue collar, wants to be a pilot,, good writer tho. he loves my art, asks for gift drawings for birthdays and stuff but he's not really online so besides that I don't think he sees it much outside me working at my desk. all in all we have a pretty normal ass relationship so I'd say having an art gf is probably like having any other gf. thank you for reading my blog
