There are some Telegram groups around that share Procreate brushes, but you can probably look around for em.
>>
If someone, somehow, has this, I will be eternally grateful.
>>
Reminder that brushes will not fix shitty art and most of everything you need is already in the app. Makig your own brushes is fine, but the last thing you need to be worried about as a beginner, with little foundation on how to apply them.

K Cool but I’m literally a professional commission artist, I just don’t want to pay my hard earned money on brushes that are overpriced

>>
>>6029901

>>
>>6030905

desu, this but i am always looking for something that gives me the right 'feeling'. i am a traditional artist that moved over to digital to be more environmentally friendly (i am the type of artist that throws away a lot of paper, so it bothered me.)

for example, i did a lot my art with a mechanical pencils, felt tip markers and the expensive fine liners. i struggle to find the right watercolor that feels right to me and the right inking brushes too.

it's more of a feeling when i buy brushes, i have so many that i bought because they don't feel right. it's not about skill, it's about feel for me. since there is no friction between apple pencil/wacom pen and the surface.
>>
>>6031465
Double this on the feel, and plus it’s mainly specialty textured brushes most people want. Not gonna sit there for 3 hours recreating a particular grit or watercolor look in digital art by hand when there’s brushes for it. Especially if they’re already shared around and free for the taking
>>
I have quite a few brushes on me, mainly Retro Supply ones, but what would be the best way to share em here? Mega is always an option but I always find that after a while, many of the Mega links I find for brushes have been taken down because of copyright stuff. Is it still the way to go or are there any other good ways?
>>
>>6030716

Here ya go, buddy! I think it's missing 5 paper textures, though, but when I also got it, those were not included either.

(remove the spaces, 4chan thinks it's spam apparently)
>>
>>6034335
Pretty much. There’s also anonfiles but it gets taken down as well. There’s possibly using a telegram but I’m fairly certain that can get struck down for copyright too.

Alright anons, I bit the bullet and made a throwaway account Mega account and uploaded a lot of my collection into this folder. >Merge into a single layer seperate from the colored layers

Changing max radius number will either make the circles in the halftones either larger or smaller.

Change layer options to overlay and change opacity to desired result.

For added texture, layer a textured paper image on top to give it a textured comic paper feel.

Not just in response to this, but the Comics MaxPack and Essential MaxPack are so excellent, I recommend them to everyone. They're the only "general" brush sets I actually use and recommend. They're big but not too big and so many of the tools are actually really good, as opposed to most other big packs where I'll consistently use or modify a few out of ~25 or whatever. Comics pack is especially key with good pencils, markers and pens.

MaxU Mechanical Pencil, 2B Pencil, 9B Pencil, and markers are my go-to Procreate sketch brushes (even if I usually prefer CSP). The inks are very good as well. Many tools have grainy or different color-blending versions included. Get it now, find it in archived share threads or whatever.

Believe me or not i'm the anon that uploaded OP's mega links, i used to have more but unfortunately some got copy striked and i lost access to the burner mega account i used to host them, So now i'll be hosting stuff on mediafire instead.
Since the retro, watercolor and essential got posted already, i'll post the painters and gouache v2 maxpacks (i don't own the comics maxpack sadly)

>painters
https://www.mediafire.com/file/7c3mfbgplq7eik1/Painter%2527s_Maxpack_and_smudge.rar/file
>gouache v2
https://www.mediafire.com/file/7n9gucfwn3fbl50/Gouache_MaxPack_v2_and_smudge.rar/file
(both are compressed because they are 2 files, the brushes themselves and the smudge tools)

I'm also dropping a killer set of pencil brushes that i haven't seen uploaded anywhere else, before digital i worked entirely with pencils and charcoal and these brushes are the ones who, for me, come closer to the feeling of actual pencils on paper. (pic rel is something i drew with them)

>COFE-s Ultimate Pencil Pack-Collection
https://www.mediafire.com/file/qih59zzr05i7n36/COFE%2527s_Ultimate_Pencil_Pack_2022.brushset/file

Here's a drive link that contains alot of textures and brushes from Texture grit.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NnKdTL5f445tWCqhZjluzC1pZrK0Z0qi?usp=sharing

And if you're looking for brushes in general, search up "vk procreate brushes" and you will find alot of stuff hosted in there. (the paper maxpack textures are uploaded there, you just gotta scroll to find them)

>>
>>6060660
If they seem to install correctly, you should find them under [Filter] personal favorite is Blur>Retouch, since it lets you increase or decrease the size of raster lines and even modify their texture to an extent, so if you hate vector and wanted to adjust something this is for you.
Effect>Retro Filter is also kind of nice, even if it is mostly just a gradient map with an additional overlay process, and all of that can be done with auto actions.
>>
>>6060650

Huh, weird. I will upload it somewhere else as folders then. I zipped it on a Windows computer, idk what's happening. I reuploaded them as folders instead on Transfernow. Perhaps they will show up normally for you now. Let me know if it's still not working for you. I can only upload it in two parts, though.

Okay so I really hate Apple and their products but I caved and bought an Ipad Pro for Procreate and it really is just better than my current set up, so I feel kind of forced to make it my main drawing method. Any good accessories you recommend for artists? I'm looking for a case right now that comes with an adjustable stand that's sturdy enough to withstand the weight of my hand on the tablet. Also is there maybe something like a wireless keyboard I can use for Procreate, or does (((Apple))) not allow for customization like that? Should I just get used to touch controls?
>>
>>6071658
Get used to touch controls, yeah - the Apple Magic Keyboard is the best option but the stand is total ass for drawing

I use a Huion stand for my iPad and it works as well as I could hope; I'd like to get an XP Pen one which is more adjustable but they're like $50

And/or this one.
These probably weren’t made in procreate, but a close enough alternative would be great.

Depending on what kind of angle you’re going for, you could always bum down to your local TJ Maxx/Marshall’s or local chain equivalent and grab yourself an adjustable lapboard/lap table on the cheap for $15.00 to $20.00.

I started using one in bed while sitting upright and I’ve enjoyed the experience thus far. There are surely better options, but use what you can find!

Does anyone have the Frankentoon Mystery Boxes? I was getting them via e-mail and I noticed I’m missing the Procreate brushes and texture from Box One.

Before you ask, no they do not include them in your downloads of you have an account with them.

I missed box one too lmao, they didn’t say you needed to sign up separately from their mailing list so I missed out on it too.

This has probably been posted before but...anyone got working links for the Kraft Tone set? I wanna find the perfect halftone brushes for me to use and some of the freebies I've tried just aren't up to snuff.
