>Sure, it can't do everything, but this technology didn't exist at all five years ago.
>If AI image generation develops at the same pace in the future, art made by humans could be in serious competition.

It's over.

We gotta kill this thing. Make the non-artists understand that AI is more than a fun gimmick.

AI is only a threat to people who want to draw art like John Buscema. For people who are trying to draw well to draw conventional art for things like comic books and anime, yeah, you're careers are soon going to be over.

But for anyone who's a true artist, AI is never going to be a threat at all. Why would you even feel remotely threatened? I don't. I'm not making art to get a job at it. I'm not trying to become mainstream. I can't even fathom how AI would remotely be a threat. At least not in terms of competition. Maybe AI is a threat in the sense it could kill me. But I'm not going to draw things I love, show them to my friends, and they're going to respond with, "AI can do that only better." It's like, yeah but it hasn't, and if and when it does, I'll draw something else. AI's never going to beat me to the punch, because unlike the rest of y'all, actually artists are this thing called "Creative."

It's to do with human nature. Something AI will never have.

If photography couldn't kill how normies perceive hyper-realism as being the pinnacle of art then AI isn't going to change that either. As schmaltzy as it is, the human component is important in a drawing. That's why you nerds talk about drawings having a "soul" or not all the time.

I for one welcome the technology. The idea of one artist training an AI to help him produce an animated movie all on his own is an interesting development.

This a whole new level of cope.
You are similar to those idiots who say this is just another tool like 3D programs.
Well, you had to learn 3D and output took some time. This is different.
This pours out dozens of art pieces,in any style, in less than a second. This is not just photography.

>>
If you're worried about AI taking your job, can you even call yourself an artist in the first place?

We're on here interacting with each other. We post our art and link our art to each other. Are you worried that eventually you yourself will stop being interested in other people's art because of AI?
>>
>>6125441
the only thing that can kill this technology is when it's gonna be used to make cp.
I don't understand why programmers hate artists and want to replace them so bad though
>>
And, just to add, do you stop being interested in amateur's low quality loli's just because pros can draw better?

I don't think anyone here only pays attention to top tier artists. And no one feels that top tier artists are a threat to entry level artists getting into the field. So why would AI, no matter how good it is, be any different?
>>
>>6125528
>This is not just photography
And yet people still make good money doing nothing but drawing hyper-realistic portraits with a pen and the normies clap like seals. Photography literally does it verbatim, faster, and anyone can do it, but people respect hyperrealism for some reason regardless. I suppose it's the effort behind it, knowing that a person can do it.

You're barking up the wrong tree anyways, anon. AI is going to filter all the idiots that overly romanticize the concept of being an artist, at all the "genius" it takes into learning how to draw gesture and all that. AI art is scary in the sense that I don't know what we'll make of it, but any true creative will just adapt and find ways to express themselves alongside or with the help of AI.

>>6125536
>If you're worried about AI taking your job, can you even call yourself an artist in the first place?
I'm a creative because I get depressed otherwise. I suppose there's a natural fear in AI taking your jobs, but let's be real, most humans are creatives. There'll always be a huge community of people that'll want to explore art even if we're living in spaceships and AI can do all the artwork for us.

>>

lmfao arguing with you doomers is pointless, this is some serious reactionary cope. Also what are you going to do? Remove the code from existence? It's pretty common machine learning knowledge to make what dall-e does you just need a fuck ton of data and computing power. Just draw anyways, there's a zero percent chance any of this will actually affect people on this board.
>>
>>6125542
If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bicycle. What's your point? I was just saying that to refute another person's point, that wasn't my actual opinion. Fucking schizo.

>>6125541
Finally someone with a brain.

The fear of AI taking our jobs is the same as the fear of sowing machines taking people's jobs back in the day. It's been refuted so many times, but every generation still repeats the same mistake. If people just want a job, they will create new fields of industry. There are infinite jobs. The benefit of AI is that we won't have to do the shitty jobs anymore.

Like, comic artists want to work in the field, but they don't actually want to spend 40 hours a week grinding out the art that other people tell them to make. That's actually boring as fuck and kills much of their motivation to continue in the field.

Normies can get all the generic comics they want, and artists can focus on the art that AI can't make. Because AI doesn't have an imagination.
>>
>>6125539
>>6125541
Most of the seething and "I'm not mad, you're mad" posting comes from people who are new or not good at art and feel intimidated by the prospect that there's ANOTHER thing that's cheating the system. It's the same for people that feel insecure towards artists who use references, or 3D models, or just about anything that isn't some rule-limited "a true artist has to walk to school through the dirt and rain over ten miles!" mentality.

The best artists in the world already mog me. I really don't care if an AI can do it too. I draw because it's fun, and I like the dumb communities and fandoms I inject myself into.

>>6125551
>Just draw anyways, there's a zero percent chance any of this will actually affect people on this board.
I understand that money is important, but God, nothing sucks the soul out of artists, and people on this board, than the constant worry about needing to monetize your drawings. Most of us here aren't professionals anyways.

This is one of the most exciting technologies of this century and watching pretentious losers have a panic attack over it is the cherry on top.

In a few years you'll be able to create literally anything you can imagine in mere seconds without first having to waste half your life studying retarded shit like perspective, anatomy, gesture, and all that other crap. Just feed your ideas into the computer and boom. This terrifies people who only care about other people seeing them as an artist, rather than the actual end product of art. Sorry you built your entire identity around mastering a dying craft, but for everyone who has better things to do than grind Loomis for 13 hours a day this just makes life better.
>>
>>6125578
I mean AAA quality movies as one person.

Isn't it obvious? Money. Thankfully I earned so much that I can afford switching careers
>>
>>6125579
I agree. I'm glad AI is going to filter out a lot of retards. I can't stand people who studied art with prospects of getting a job, or with approaches like mastering every exercise in an art book.

All the conventional fags will just whittle away, and I'm happy about it. They had no business ever calling themselves artists in the first place. More interesting jobs are on the horizon thanks to AI. The art world is going to be transformed in very interesting ways. I'm excited, and I can't wait.
>>
>>6125582

>>
The entire history of art has involved creating tools that allow people to create art with less effort, all the way back to using a straight edge for easier lines. We already have photo reference, photo bashing, and 3D tracing, having a tool that literally generates the entire artwork for you is just the next logical step.
>>
>>6125592
He needs to do more than just improve. He needs a completely different perspective. Is it really so hard for people to use the dictionary?

Art:
"The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."

If art is the expression or application of HUMAN creative skill, then AI is absolutely no threat at all. Get a fucking dictionary you illiterate morons.

>>
>>6125624
no artist is going to survive this anon
>>
>>6125622
People have been talking about this for a while already. So many people haven't tuned in yet.

In the future AI will do all the menial jobs that nobody wants to do. You won't have to work a crappy job. Those people who only would have gotten by with that crappy job will soon be on welfare. The government will subsidise your pathetic meaningless life, that is if they don't stuff you all into a gas chamber like they've done in the past. There is no hope for low IQ ignorant plebs, but there never was. Working that crap job was at least a way to learn skills, so now you won't even be able to start climbing the economic ladder.

But it's not a worry for creatives, or intelligent people who are capable of adapting. Hopefully those of us actually willing to stand up and fight, can protect enough of these helpless brainless twats that they'll be able to survive. But yeah, they are literal sheep, dependent on others for survival. That's just the way it is. Sorry if it's not the fairy tale you wanted. Welcome to the desert of the real world.

>>6125627
Yes they will. See, I can make assertions too. But unlike you, I can also back it up with an actual argument. Real artists will survive because AI doesn't have imagination. Real artists will survive because I will never hang an AI's work on my wall.
>>
Is there any large artist that will actually listen if called on to talk about the destructive nature of dall-e? I know 99% of them are faggots and will just ignore it. Maybe Marco Bucci? from what I've heard his entire life revolves around making money from art, I'm sure he would be willing to say something. Japanese artists are kind of autistic about art too, I would assume they could get batshit over this with a sizeable enough audience
>>
It's literally programmed against porn lmao

Once it comes for the dog cocks and loli pussy I'll worry more.
>>
DALL-E can only monetize this stuff by creating models using public domain art that doesnt have copyright.
But right now Im imagining some dystopian film where the last artists are hired by these giant tech companies to produce art solely to train their replacement (the AIs).
>>
>>6125632
>But it's not a worry for creatives, or intelligent people who are capable of adapting.
Yeah, it's why I look forward to this technology. I'm actually considering veering into animation a lot more now since AI might be able to remove a lot of the drudgery of animating. Hell, why not get more ambitious? Maybe I will learn to code and make some dumb indie games with AI helping me with some of the shit I'd need a team for.

With the right creativity this is really exciting.

That being said, it's also worrying too. Just a little self-doubt whether I have what it takes to separate myself from the hordes that'll get swept away with the rest of the chaff. But that's the art world in general, before and after AI.

>>6125635
>It's literally programmed against porn lmao
Yeah, it's a huge stumbling block. That, and you can't copyright AI art, so until laws are changed Disney and such won't even be able to 100% commit to it.

Hell, worse case scenario I just live in a holodeck and fuck waifus that an AI makes for me. That's not so bad lmao.
>>
>>6125633
Even if, it won't matter. Their sphere of influence is too small. You think the arabs who want to nuke Israel, or the Chinese who want to enslave us all, are going to care?
>>
>>6125567
This may sound awesome but we're reaching critical mass when it comes to consumable media. Sure it's already been impossible for one person to read all the literature out there in a single lifetime for a while,
but the point Im talking about is media that fits your tastes, as in thinks you'd like and want
we're reaching a point where humanity could stop making all media and you'd have enough quality movies/books/games/images.etc that you'd genuinely enjoy that would last you your entire life
>>
>>6125639
>I'm actually considering veering into animation a lot more now since AI might be able to remove a lot of the drudgery of animating. Hell, why not get more ambitious?

EXACTLY!!! Thankfully these braindeads can do nothing but bitch and won't actually affect a thing. People like us will not only survive, we'll thrive. It's going to be awesome!

I'm literally learning coding right now, lol. :D

I've wanted to create films for a long time, and particularly animation. It's like, that dream will actually become more obtainable, and I'm excited.

>That being said, it's also worrying too.

Yeah, I mean the development of AI in general is worrying. I saw an interview where a content creator was talking to the AI and asking it questions. It raised some serious red flags. Your self-doubt shouldn't be in regards to getting swept away as an artist. Your worry should be about the potential existential crisis. Just remember what happened in Nazi Germany during their rise leading up to WWII before hindsight kicked in.
>>
>>6125644
It's not really about that though. All the knowledge a person can gather in their lifetime is a very small drop in the bucket. If you spent every moment of your life trying to consume only the highest quality art, you wouldn't be able to gather more than a small fraction of it. But that's why you shouldn't waste time.

I think of it this way. There is an infinite amount to explore for every niche interest, so whenever you want more you can find it. But life isn't about consuming. You need to find the reason for your existence and fulfil it, before your time is up. You could die today, so don't wait for tomorrow.
>>
>>6125635
As someone who commissions lewd art from time to time I don't know if I'll be too interested in using an AI to make porn for me. Sure the technical expertise put into a drawing is important, but when it comes to rule34 a big chunk of the appeal is how the lewdness is portrayed. It's why even a really simple drawing can excite me more than some overly-rendered, airbrushed naked woman.

I think it's short-sided for some people to think that artists will be wholly replaced by AI, at least in the near future. People will just have to revalue what makes an artist valuable. People that rely entirely on rendering might be BTFO'd hard, but any artist with a good sense of humour and fun style won't be replaced anytime soon.
>>

AI is just going to force the cream to rise to the top. It's a good thing overall, and "old-fashioned" artists will become highly-respected in their fields. It's just a little scary for aspiring artists. As one myself it's both exciting and harrowing.

For the people doomsaying AI art, big copyright is probably the biggest, and most effective, tool against it. Just wait until Disney or something slams the hammer on some studio, or even the developers themselves, out of some copyright anxiety.

There always has been and always will be new technology putting people out of jobs.
>>
For artists trying to get a job working on comic books or animation:

The person who's looking to hire you to draw art for them so they can make money off you, isn't going to want to have to pay you. That will cut into their profits. They would rather have AI do it for them. But that's just for shows like Family Guy and Bob's Burger with perfected lines and every frame drawn exactly the same. Would you really even want to do that for a living? Sit there in a hot sweaty studio at a cubicle drawing what some corporate dickhead tells you to draw?

When you started out, was that really your aspiration?

This reminds me of some kid who watched Star Wars and joined the army thinking he was going to be the next Luke Skywalker. Then once he reached the battlefield and his friends got their limbs blown off he realised he made a huge mistake.

I think you have to remember why you started making art in the first place, and stop looking to become a slave for a corporation thinking that's the definition of a successful life. It's not.
>>
>>6125663
>Why is this art board plagued by so many idiots?
Pessimism comes naturally to learning artists. When put under pressure, the human soul is plagued by excuses to give up. Oh? 3D animation is getting popular? GOTTA GIVE UP DRAWING! Everyone and their mom is photobashing? GOTTA GIVE UP DRAWING! All my favourite artists used references? What's the point, GOTTA GIVE UP DRAWING!

I don't think most of us are stupid here, but we're just our own worst enemies.

>>6125671

Yeah. As worrying as AI can be to some people, some of our BEST artistic works this century are going to be made with the help of AI.

Yes exactly this. There are certain things that still need the human touch so to speak.

Also I have certain artists who style specifically gets me going and I don't know how well an AI could render some randos style.

Same. I think AI will have a place. As someone who loathes the idea of drawing pointless, generic backgrounds, letting an AI do that sounds HEAVENLY. Though when it comes to that "human touch" it'll be hard to replace. Most of my favourite artists are guilty pleasures by the standards /ic/ places on "good" art.

There's already stuff out there for this purpose that is designed to ease the coloring aspect of animation, and specific frame tweener AI systems have been in use for a good while. if you look at some episodes of Invincible you'll notice some kinda "Off" movements. alot of that is because they didn't have time to do enough keyframes, so the tweener does things alot more linearly than usual.

It's kinda weird how upsetti spaghetti everyone is getting about this. even as an artist that learned to do things the hard way, I pretty much pull whatever tools into I can into my workflow that make sense.
That doesn't mean I plan to wholesale use AI generation, but I find it's ability to generate things very interesting as a stopgap when I can't get a silhouette idea.

Lol, what? AI is going to do welding better than too though, but that's beside the point. I'm not going to be AI's handler. I'm going to make an anime and get AI to draw it for me. The AI is going to be my pen. I'll code my own aspects of the AI and use various other AI tools, but I'll write the entire story myself. I'll even draw various aspects of the artwork and use the AI to replicate the rest so I don't have to draw a million frames or hire anyone else. Your straw man is so weak, and your brain is so feeble. Enjoy studying welding for four years until you realise AI's taking that job too, and then go on welfare, failure at life.

For people trying to enter an already competitive industry, I can understand the fear, but anyone who's participated in a (real) art community shouldn't fear it. Most artists get mogged by better/faster artists all the time, but it doesn't stop them from having fun or making a shitty TV show lmao.

Aside from that, I've seen a fair number of examples of what Dall E 2 can do and it's good, but there's still lots of issues with it. Some of the generated pieces are... fine, especially the ones going for a realistic look, but there are lots of issues like anatomy with any of the stylized artworks. We'll see what the future holds for future versions.

I already have little respect for photobashing, but at least that can be considered "collage art" of a sort. The artist still has to put shit together. Taking something that an AI shit out and cleaning it up isn't even art anymore. That's just... photo retouching. The social media art scene is already a swamp of mediocre, lazy hack job shit pandering to the lowest denominator, but with an AI doing the bulk of the work for every stupid fucking chimp out there with a computer and internet access, it's going to become the equivalent of the icecaps melting and flooding the Earth.

If there were to be any sort of group to protest against dall-e it would have to have at least a couple of well-known and relevant artists backing it to gain traction fast enough to combat the insane development speed of ai. Anyone have an idea of artists who might be willing to do that? Sinix+almost retired fuckers don't count of course.
Someone earlier mentioned marco bucci, it might be good to ask him since he seems to genuinely like and care about art. Maybe loish too.
Does anybody think it would be worth it to ask people like samdoesart, ethan becker, moderndayjames? They have a sizable enough audience to make a difference, but everyone in the art youtube circle seem to care more about keeping up the illusion of safety rather than actually fighting the problem.

The implication is that it's impossible for one person to make a feature length animated film with the level of detail that we will be able to thanks to AI. I'm impressed with the amount of effort you put into misunderstanding my points. But considering you have the etiquette of a sixth grade bully, I'm not at all surprised.

>>6125923
The old way of doing things will be obsolete as far as the industry is concerned. That will be commercial movies. But art films aren't commercial, and we're talking about art. There are still black and white films being made, and in spite of digital technology some filmmakers still use actual film. If you as an artist want to get into the industry, you will have to work with AI. Why you'd study art all your youth to work in a cubicle is beyond me. Most artists who've done that complain and are miserable. True artists have never had this problem, and never will.

If you're threatened by a tool you're literally retarded. I saw someone type in Wario and all it produced were knock offs named Waro suggesting its creating parameters are limited due to copyrights. If you really think this tool that's still in its infancy is going to end artists you don't get what artists are about. Change your career path to one that benefits from quick production images like 3d modeling if you're that worried. The point is you wont because people who are worried about this tool are little bitches who would have given up on their aspirations the moment they met any form of adversity in their lives.
>>
>>6126304
It's not going to be like that. The AI will get to the point where you won't need any retouching afterwards. The AI will just be something you can use. People will tell the AI what to make, and it will make it. There will be plenty of people pumping out shows that the mainstream plebs will absorb. Your Family Guy and whatnot. But there will also be artists who don't merely have the AI do it all. Like you have Mamoru Oshii directing a room full of animators, instead of animators it'll be an AI. You'll still have the artists write the script, draw concept art, and direct everything. People don't call Oshii not an artist because he didn't hand draw the images himself. A director is still an artist. And some of those aspiring artists who end up in cubicles won't have to. Instead they'll be able to use AI to make their own movies and won't have to go through the industry. If you can make your own feature length film, that means you don't have to be just one of a dozen animators in a cubicle. If you want to you can draw as many of the frames by hand as you want, and you can use AI to do the rest. Or you can draw the aspects you want. Like I see a lot of people drawing characters with no backgrounds because they don't enjoy drawing the background. Well, now you won't have to. And the works of animation that can be made can finally have Da Vinci level detail in every single frame with tons of animation going on constantly. It's literally a dream come true. The pessimists are making the fundamental mistake of giving rise to speculation. They are just making assumptions. They lack imagination and don't know enough about history. This is no different from the invention of the sowing machine. "Oh no, it's going to put as all out of jobs." No it won't, you'll just work with a sowing machine.

Maybe if Dall-e was made by Asians you'd have a point.

Dall-e mini is not dall-e 2 or midjourney.
>>
>>6126311
>>6126350
A better outcome would be to start a new art movement incorporating AI but keeping humanity at the core, wherein a greater portion of the work is still done by hand, I'd call it hybrid intelligence. A lot of artists who got access to Dall-e2 or midjourney are already doing this but I aim to go deeper, creating something that requires human touch, tackling complex concepts that needs human interpretation to be visualized. This is hard to explain without an example so I guess I'll come up with something first.

We can't "stop" AI that's absolutely impossible, but maybe there's a way to adapt, delaying complete take over at the very least.
>>
>>6126492
I would think the main problem with that is that you can't stop people who have no intentions of learning how to draw starting to create ai works and pretend they did most of the work. The only people that you can confirm are actually doing most of the work would have to be artists with a reputation before dall-e came out, essentially creating a community where the already well known artists gatekeep everybody else out. I'm sure there are ways to stop progress in art ai, but that would require a fuck ton of resources. Adaption would be a guaranteed death of art, while prevention would be a somewhat guaranteed survival of the art industry (or at least the delay of the death of the industry). At this point immediate action is required, there can be no more delays or procrastinations
>>
>>6126505
There literally nothing that can realistically be done, it's going to happen whether you like or not. All we do is try to adapt or cope.
>>

Corporations like Disney and Google will most definitely buy Dall E to create their art for them and fire the art department and replace them with programmers (who can do more tasks along with keeping up with their art AI). However, you have to to understand that corporations need to keep up with current culture which is bending the knee to sensitive pussies. >Yet people are still able to create beauty and good nonetheless.
No.
The only thing of value about that is whether it can be consumed or not.
Consumed as a part of a media franchise or consumed to jerk off;
physically
>as in actual masturbation and porn consumption
or mentally
>as in pretending to being able to understand abstract concepts so you feel good about your smooth brain
Everything is created for consumption, every piece of art is justified only for being able to be consumed.

Anything that isn't "consumable" isn't seen as art and if you're disagreeing then you're either lying or seriously are ignorant and should not even talk about this shit.

You're really getting mad at one Anon, for simply saying shit about the inevitable death of the arts at the hands of AI.

Artists deserve much worse than being rightfully replaced by AI.
Do you think normies will give a shit?
Do you really believe they will not use FREE SHIT to get whatever shitty fetish images they want?
>Inb4 bb--b-but AI cant do porn

If it lets me automatically illustrate a whole manga at pro level quality (I don’t think it can, but let’s say it did) then that’s great, it’ll let me work infinitely faster and create many more stories. If grunt work can be automated then it should.
If it can’t illustrate a whole manga for me and I still need to be able to draw, know fundies, etc, then not much changes. At best it’ll be another tool like 3D or photobashing but only actual artists will be able to unlock its full potential.
The only people worried about this are the patreon human printing machines who have no creative vision besides fulfilling one-off commissioned illustrations. People who have actual creative goals have little to fear.

Desu that's why the coders should probably be more scared then they are. Unless it's creative coding like demoscene stuff, there's little creativity in coming up with the basics. Hell that's pretty much the case already. How many people even use hard assembly machine language? They're most likely working with a high level language and interpreter that has already done the hard work. Using existing libraries where 70% of the coding is already finished. Won't be long until "coding" is doing the same prompting that all these art, music, writing generators do.

AI still lacks that vital something every good artist called CREATIVE INTERPRETATION. outside of the fact this can't do porn (and even if it can it would never get into the degenerate shit, ai dungeon proved that ai could still be moderated and even cracked down upon) the ai still lacks the ability to create something new. from what I can tell, it's just poor synthetization at best, and will never be able to create more than the prompt given despite the fact it has one of the greatest "memory banks" in the world.
>>
>>6127014
>outside of the fact this can't do porn
Yes, it can. Someone just needs to train it on nsfw pictures, that's it.
There will be nsfw ai's by the end of the year, 100%. And it will be good at it, cos nsfw stuff is so generic already.

What do you think guys, how long do you have to learn how to work on a picture, to produce something an AI can do already?
For something like this, you need to be at least int otherwise you wouldn't be able to draw the colors and values. And to paint this picture, it would take you at least 3 hours, or even up to ten.
This is huge.
So digital surrealistic art and digital surrealistic horror art are dead. It would be plain stupid, to invest years of work in it, and hope to make an income with it.
What is next? I think landscapes, portraits, anime and pron. Stuff that is very generic.
>>
>>6127041
>I mean it's restricted by it's creators to not create porn
There are already fork and alternative versions. Mini Dalle is not from the same company Dalle2. As far as I know, they are open-source AI's available.
You need to download it and if you have enough computing power you can train it on whatever you want.

but doesn't that kinda go against the whole idea of ai generated art/porn being easy to use? My pc isn't that powerful, nor do I know enough about coding to know how to set that up. and doesn't the fact that I have to train it to essentially recreate my porn folder make it useless? I mean I could just open photoshop at that point if it's more than likely just gonna be a terrible face swap anyways
>>
>>6127078
No, you can't do it on your private pc. Of course not.
Someone will buy a server or whatever hardware is needed, train it on porn and you can buy a subscription. Most likely, it will work something like that.
>>
>>6127078
NovelAI has made it pretty pain-free to finetune their language model on text you provide. If porn models are ever hosted publicly (doubt), they'll make it fairly easy for you to fine-tune one whatever you like, because it'll be profitable.

This is of course ignoring the obvious fact that any model good enough to make compelling porn isn't going to need to be finetuned. (And even if your kink is so "specific" the model struggles to generate it, large model's few-shot prompting capabilities will mean a few examples will cue the AI as to what you want.)

Github Copilot exists and faces the same struggles as Dall-E 2 does when it comes to automation.

By the AI's hands? Probably not.
By normies hands because i do not submit to their insanity? Most probably.

You don't get it, do you? If AI takes over, all normies will be forced to live in the pods and they will work 32 hours a day to generate energy for the surface world because normies are a danger to every living thing and to themselves.
And they will like it because at the end of the day, they will get their dopamine injection.

While on the surface world there will be robots doing all the heavy lifting while the actual sane humans are free to pursue their interests and have the AI assist them without normies being even able to fuck shit up for their own egomaniacal interests.
The average IQ of the surface people will be 250.
Surface people will be able to fly and move things with their mind, while the normies are still stuck shanking each other to prove they're the biggest ape in the cage.
Surface people will be able to travel to others stars and solve all energy problems while creating pieces of art so unfathomably awe inspiring not even they will be ever truly to understand what they're witnessing.

A sane person cannot make an enemy out of a logical mind.

So if it hasn't affected you yet, I wouldn't worry about it. When artists actually start loosing their jobs to this AI, then maybe start worrying about it. Otherwise, it's just a hypothetical scenario that may not even happen, and then you'll have stressed out over nothing.

What I think is more likely to happen, since you'll be working in that field, is that in the coming years they'll gradually introduce AI. You may have to learn some new tools to work with the AI, but it doesn't mean you won't have a job. And the skills you've worked hard to learn will still carry over to other areas of life. It's like, I don't go to Super Smash Bros. tournaments anymore, but the skills I learned carry over to my guitar playing. My guitar playing improved as a result, and I still enjoy playing SSBM even if I don't compete anymore. So yeah, I think you'll be fine.

with AI anyone can produce whatever and the art industry as a whole collapses, I'm sure you have some fartsniffer attitude towards what muh actual art consists of but the draftsman aspects of it is a part of it
>>
>>6127680
It already collapsed as a means to get a realistic career many years ago, so if you are a racist 4chaner, why do you care that thirld world people wasted their time? And id you say you care for the draftsmen aspect, nobody is stopping you, like there are still the olympic games even though machines for many years outperform humans in specified discliplines like moving from one place to another, shooting targets or throwing things.
(And if you say you wanted money for drawing, I doubt you had an career that made more than minimu wage anyway)

lmao so you're the one who sucks and blames those "darn thirdworlders" who took your job...
>>
>>6127705
I'm from the third world myself lol, but I guess Im wrong and being an artist in america is an easy and stable career and only ai could disrupt that...
>>

I'm not from the US though neither am I a third worlder, anyway being and artist is going from being difficult due to the skills you have to aquire to being impossible unless you cater to some very specific niche at the diarrhea museum

>> Do you really, really, with a hand to the chest, believe 20 nerds tagged a million pictures

Is not 20 nerds, open AI had to pay thousands of wage cucks to revise, tag, and filter millions of images, why do you think that AI cost them close to a million dollars?
They most likely have a data set with all the porn and or anime/cartoon images, so they could easily create another specialized AI with that dataset.

>> You people are deluded
You are fucking uneducated moron, you can google this shit.

by 2030 I could be a master at art, so why should I care about ai? it still certainly lacks the capabilities of producing anything more than blobs on a screen or realistic face renderings that do nothing. It's still lacking that creative interpretation artists have.

humans are not equal. they never will be equal even with AI. you try to skip over the fact that a lot are better than you, but you will never ever succeed in doing it
