Wanting to be able to at least be able to relatively quickly draw people like this. This is an overly flattering doodle of myself. where are my main flaws and what are some tips for this sort of thing (never shared my stuff before so I have no real idea of my skills)

This looks really aped from this one artists I see on social media, it's a bit glaring because its a really popular one with a bad case of sameface, WHICH, isnt strictly bad. ANIME EQUALS LE BAD, is an awful crab mentality you shouldn't follow, however, I do say you should study some cartoonist caricature techniques, so you can make even more simple characters that, funnily enough, look leagues more distinct. That's why a good cartoonist can draw van gogh as a smiley face tier character and still being undoubtly van gogh, while a less talented artist can spend hours detailing their Van Gogh portrait and it still looks like some bearded ginger guy you seen on the street
Because want it or not, with anime shovel face you'll end up wasting too much effort on the hairs style and animu eyes to make each character stand out, which is the opposite of what you want
Godspeed anon, and get the hell away from this thread before the crabs start cussing at you

it looks fine, it's generic anime-drawn-by-a-westerner. you say you want to "learn how to draw this" when you literally just drew what you wanted.

poor wording, I guess I'm trying to figure out what aspects of my stuff is weaker and I wanted to use something I drew to pick out what's wrong. I've never had input before so I'm worried I'm doing things wrong.

draw the full body
