The fundamental understanding is about on par with one another, just your artist uses more thick painterly brushes, while the other looks more like soft round brushes with more digital paint like textures or even watercolour

Probably Kawaguchi Youhei (kawayoo). I don't look at him as regularly as I used to, but he's the first one who showed me art could be weird, maybe lowbrow without being atrociously ugly or unappealing (though I hate the word).Nowadays I like so many things, so it's hard to pinpoint a current person as an inspiration, but his wicked sick shit set me on my path.

first artbookgot it in middle schoolthe influence is extremely remote in that the pictures looked cool to me and got me to want to draw more while I was super into world of warcraft and monsters.
