Made some caneles after getting some nice molds on eBay Hard to nail down the right temp for my oven cause so many different recipes ask for 500 all the way to 400 for 10 min The batter isn’t too difficult itself but the fact you gotta make it 2 days ahead of time is annoying Pretty tasty little cake though
>>202662345This thing dipped in hot milk is my favourite thing of ChristmasBravo Italy!

>>202663920No need to seethe, friend. At least your people got it right with cannoli and tiramisu.
>>202661571>>202662345I'd try those, but I doubt they hold a candle to tiramisu.
>>202664491you have icing sugar on top dont worry you will like it
>>202663284the glossy surface is very nice, I bet they're quite tasty. ottimo lavoro!

>>202664491Sometimes you different things, it's like saying that you wouldn't eat biscuits, ice cream or pancakes cause you can eat tiramisu instead, they're just different things, and dipping a panettone in some coffee and milk is a completely different experience than eating a portion of tiramisu
>>202665297if you say so
>>202661571Correction: That's called "sockerkaka" and is a Swedish invention. But thanks!
i tried to make panetony with a makeshift mold last christmas ....a disaster

>>202665692I have googled it and it's different: pandoro is fluffier and softer, sockerkaka is more like a plumcake texture.
