I stayed at hostels in Europe over the Summer, and it astonished me how social and friendly Europeans are. It is so easy to meet new people and have an active social life in Europe, whereas here in America it is basically impossible to make new friends after college.

Sorry?

Also, I disagree, Americans are "friendly", but it is all fake, and genuine connection is almost non-existent. Whereas, I found that Europeans are friendly, and genuine. And specifically, I found French and Dutch people to be at the top of the list as far as socialness was concerned. I do agree that Germans are awful though.
