I’d also say while the elcan is an S tier combat optic it’s probably B tier as a competition type optic so fast target transitions, shooting on the move, getting consistent head placement and just the body mechanics of the optic since it’s a very low 1x and the top dot is very high.It has a lot of pros which is why I still think it’s an S tier combat optic but it’s significantly easier to just pick up a red dot and get to work whereas the elcan takes a lot of practice and consistency. I’m sure there are $500 LPVOs that would do a better job in match settings but I wouldn’t want to trip and fall on top of one especially wearing full kit
