Yes, those are problems, that is why I am asking when a capable person(not you) will solve them and create the true next generation suppressor
>>
>>62625424
>get barrel length bonus AND suppressor bonus
not really. integrally suppressed barrels are kind of a meme. most of the time its literally just a short barrel with a reflex style suppressor (which are good for shorter overall length but less effective than standard suppressors) though some of the new meme designs integrate the "baffles" into the barrel and the "suppressor" is just a cover that slides over. With some like the MP5SD the barrel essentially has slots drilled into it which is to lower bullets to subsonic velocity. In any case, why would you want "sections" that are removable? I feel like a quick detachable barrel/suppressor assembly would be better overall

Is Griffin Armament Mk2 lower worth getting? The magwell looks too fat. However that slide lever is the best in the industry. Its also a FA pocket lower.
Downside is some questionable QC.

FRT basically legal (grey area).
Now that third positions exist.
If they hit the market again. Its going to explode in popularity.

M16 is old technology. FRT is proven to be faster and more reliable. If you really study the design. Its incredible. The newest ones have rollers on them to speed up the bcg. Its clocking faster times than m16.
Best part is it has a locking bar. So it has to reset.
Full auto doesnt have it. Nowhere in the NFA does it say shooting a semi auto faster than a m16 is illegal. Nowhere.

Not sure yet, just got the 3-prong mounted up today. Will report back after some range time. I don't think it's gonna be too bad because it's a pretty stout barrel profile, but I also don't care too much with this upper because it's a piston meme dedicated suppressor host for use under NODs. My 16" DI mid gas upper, we'll see.

How bad could it really be?

Proper sling is length adjustable on the fly. Vickers and magpul make fine ones, there's ferro slingster, many others. Attach it far front left and rear back left.
Attach sf 640df with unity hot button at 12 oclock.
Save up for a proper optic.
Stack aluminum mags and cases of ammo.
Shoot your rifle.
Save up for a proper upper and move your acessories to it.

Sure. The G36 is a lot more AR-18 than the Hk416 is though. The only thing in the entire gun that is similar to the AR-18 is the piston. And the piston isn't all that similar.

On the other hand, the entire gun is built like an AR-15 and can use many AR-15 parts. Zero AR-18 parts are possible to use in the Hk416.

>The ArmaLite AR-18 is a gas-operated assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition. The AR-18 was designed at ArmaLite in California by Arthur Miller, Eugene Stoner, George Sullivan, and Charles Dorchester in 1963 as an alternative to the Colt AR-15 design, a variant of which had just been selected by the U.S. military as the M16. A semi-automatic version known as the AR-180 was later produced for the civilian market. While the AR-18 was never adopted as the standard service rifle of any nation, its production license was sold to companies in Japan and the United Kingdom, and it is said to have influenced many later weapons such as the British SA80,[1][2][3] the Singaporean SAR-80 and SR-88,[3] the Belgian FN F2000,[4] the Japanese Howa Type 89[5] and the German Heckler and Koch G36.

Guys, should i buy a reddot mount to mount it on top of my lpvo or should the reddot be on the side of the gun? And if the top Option is the best one, since everybody seem to have it, which mount would be the best for an 34mm tube of the Kahles.

lube the fuck out of the sear and start working it. I separate the lower and put my palm on the hammer face and go to town with dry fire, making sure not to let the hammer hit the BHO tab. >>
>>62627375
Top dot gives you a way to aim off either shoulder with your dominant eye.
It also gives you a way to aim passively with nightvision (it's kind of a meme though ).
Downside to top dot is that your height over bore is way high even if you're using a 1.54 mount and you have to use a chin weld which isn't great for recoil management.

Offset dot is going to be limited to whatever your dominant eye is only.
Offset dot is significantly lower height over bore and you get significantly better face contact with the stock.

The thing is you can just try out both. The mounts for either of these aren't all that expensive. It's just the initial cost of the comm one and then of course the time to zero it and the ammo spent trying out both.
Start with top dot and if you really dislike it try an offset.

Seems pretty good on paper. Good performance from what I see in the videos.
Two hangups for me:
1. No gun profiles to easily realign the optic when swapping from gun to gun. Have to jot down your zero shift and go through the menus and re set your zero each time.
2. Have to buy eyepiece separate to use as handheld scanner.
Overall I think I can deal with those missing features for the 2k savings over a yoter and will probably give it a try.

I'm of the opinion now that pure Ti cans are not an option except for hunting or like a dedicated home defense (inside the house lol) gun. The spark they throw really is a signature issue.
Do you know how hybrid construction SS/Ti or Inconel/Ti cans perform when it comes to Ti spark? Cans with an SS or Inconel blast baffle or two, and SS or Inconel front end cap, but with the main baffle stack being Ti? Do these types of cans in general have acceptable spark signature?

Thoughts on Eotech G45?
Anyone know if Unity FTC Magnifier mounts are clone correct currently for Mk18s and CQBRs with RIS II rails?

>>62628716
Some things are good to try chinkshit versions of, some things are not. Primary aiming systems and other things that require high degrees of precision are definitely not the things to experiment with chinkshit versions of.

bad, like every single magnifier that is not the g33
>>
>>62628843
>g45
makes it easier to zero your red dot, that's about it
the eyebox is really tight like using 12x on my athlon 2-12 is significantly easier than using a g45.
it's a noticeable improvement in terms of magnification over a g33 however the eyebox on the g33 is so much easier to get behind that I think it's much better as an overall optic.
I got rid of mine after a day.
You have two choices if you want a 1x and 3/4x at the same height.
Accept the limitations of a red dot magnifier and use whatever red dot + a g33 or accept the limitations of a prism optic and get an elcan 1/4

>the only europeans I ever see in the US are in the medical field where they can make so much money that its actually worth it.
Even then, the barrier to enter the US medical field is fucking high and extremely limited unless you already know a good residency program lead.

Without that food in the door, you aren't getting any of the desirable specs like Radiology, Ophtho, Anesthetics, or Derm as an IMG. Nor are you getting the sexy surgical specialties like Ortho, Neuro, etc. You're also not allowed to work in any of the major big dick hospitals, so you end up in some shit hole having to practice internal medicine or family medicine only.

If you've finished training and the equivalent to an attending, it means fuckall unless you have an international resumé and are famous within the field. Otherwise you are having to either start from the beginning or restricted to a few hospitals that hold you hostage.

It's only realistically viable if you went to an American med school or as said above, know program directors who will give you good letters of recommendation

The triangle shit is just a meme, nobody shoots that better and it bleeds precision. First strike of being a meme company.
All of their fixed irons use a pinch type retention that results in the screw walking out. Since that screw and tension is also the recoil lug the sight will start to wobble before it becomes rattle trap tier. Ive had to remove no fewer than a half dozen of these from peoples rifles on the range because their zero loss became a liability.
Their folding irons are needlessly tall compared to contemporaries of same era (arms, kac, etc) and are only second to the matech in terms of bulk that blocks correct optic mounting. The tiny ass detent+spring used for the windage adjustment on the rear will seize and with no access to it its impossible to free so you will go to adjust it and poof no more zero ever. The locking mech for the flip function is steel into alumnium so you better not flip those too much or you will get floppy irons.

Troy easily the worst of the old companies, even without worrying about them simping for kid shooters. There are so many better options in current year or even current year-15

>The text conveys a strong sense of anger and frustration. The use of derogatory language, including slurs and name-calling, suggests a heated emotional state and a desire to belittle the recipient. The repetition of phrases like "It doesn't matter" implies a dismissive attitude towards the other person's opinions, reinforcing a tone of superiority. The writer's insistence that the other person's knowledge is completely wrong adds to the confrontational nature of the message.

>Additionally, the mention of specific brands and figures, such as "magpul pros" and "Bill Ruger," indicates that the writer is likely deeply invested in a particular topic, possibly related to firearms or related culture, and feels very strongly about their stance. The concluding remarks about corporate statements and "good faith" suggest a broader context of disappointment, perhaps with the industry or community at large. Overall, the emotional tone comes across as aggressive, dismissive, and confrontational, reflecting a heated argument rather than a constructive dialogue.
