In order to get competitive output for their engines, Russia and China typically just run the engine at temperatures that put high stress on components, so they need to go through major overhauls and be outright replaced at a much higher rate. Like that infographic shows, in the time that a single F100 engine goes through 2 overhauls on a single engine, Russia does a combined 18 overhauls on 6 engines.
