If you're stuck with the SF muzzle devices do consider the B&T cans (they work but be careful on open vs closed tine alignment) but the RC3 has treated me well. Price and performance is another thing to consider, there's some other cans on the market with much better performance for the same or less price like the Huxwrx Flow and PTR Vent 3. No idea how those 3 compare in the dark if you intend to use NVGs.

If I hold a DI upper and piston upper on their own, muzzle up, with the bcg in the upper, the DI stays locked in but the piston falls out. Is this normal or is something fucky? In both cases the dust cover closes but the weight of the piston will pop it open anyways. Doesn't matter on any DI upper I've had.
