apparently if you can shoot fletch out of your ar pistol it no longer requires a tax stamp

pretty sure that's a Jesse James build, Alex Jones just owns it

You can do that with every ar pistol. This is just "you can shoulder your braces" all over again not that I'm really complaining I just hope they permanently end this nfa bullshit

But they picked the one barrel that has all its weight on the end where it doesn’t help… maybe they know something I dont
>>
>>64274745
>where it doesn't help
this is how they keep us in the dark. Have you ever wondered what's out there? Beyond the gas port? I think there's something out there. I want to believe

My most controversial political belief is I think government profile is fine, maybe even good.

I am a BIG fan heheheheh but yeah they're very good, basically as reliable as milspec insofar as cycling
>>
>>64274759
Theres 3 options that make sense to me: loud retard roomclearing with 30 cal, Not a fan of CTE subsonic pcc, or a 300 BO with a QD can so you can do both.
>>
>>64274759
Under 10" and you should just go 300blk
>>
>>64274735
Maybe it was part of the dog fucker's plan?

>>64274755
>I think government profile is fine, maybe even good
LMAO, no. It was the lightest barrel profile in production so it made sense to pair it with the slimmed down guard already incompatible with an M203 launcher
>>

LWRC, LMT, or KAK?

I agree. There's honestly gotta be literature on it from the time it was being worked out that explains the rationale. It might hint at being onto to something

My only experience with LMT is a friend. He likes his. I don't know much beyond that.
I have a lwrc on the main lower that takes the majority of the abuse and has never ever ever ever even hinted at doing something odd. It's solid. I preemptively upped the buffer weight but not on account of needing it but more just future proofing.

KAK on my second favorite rifle and runs great and again never had issues EXCEPT with a particularly gassy bcg on an upper it wasn't mated to it didn't cycle reliably on full auto. Any other bcg worked fine so hard to blame the kak for that. They're both perfect desu but the kak's recoil feels a little bit punchier hence it's on the second favorite

>>
>>64274780
Shorter 5.56s feel more like a logostical compromise to me. Nothing wrong, but you cant control pressure/noise like you can with pccs or 300bo. I prefer my sbrs to not be gassy and poppy.

I'm also Miami Vice 90 rounder bro from the other day
The LWRC PDW/Colt combo is not happy with the super safety but I think that's a fitment issue I can resolve

>>64274801
Genuinely not bad on my Colt 6945 or LMT MRP upper. The Colt absolutely requires the gas buster when suppressed though.
The LMT is piston driven and is really endearing me to SSP for short ass 5.56 builds.

>>
>>64274848

>>
>>64274822
>the original barrel profile
You mean the one that the Military stopped procuring decades ago? 14.5 government was the logistically expedient choice. The superior choice above both pencil and government would require a new NSN so they just didn't
>>
>>64274848
I think he's talking about the KAK CQC buffer weight/spring/tube combo

>>
>>64274854
Okay. So you think it was just good ENOUGH. I but I bet the reason the government keeps ordering more is because it's good
