Look I love the p365X but fuck this thing has a light trigger. Is it really safe to carry with one in the chamber?

Fuck no. The lack of a trigger safety also gives me anxiety.

You could've gotten one with a thumb safety, but you listened to notraining retards online who think concealed carry is equal to a cop carrying OWB in a duty holster with 2 forms of retention (they think their open top "kydex" (arts n crafts plastic) holster is a form of retention LOL)

Get glocklegged.

you can get the safety kit and a grip with a cutout for it and put the safety in yourself it takes like 15-20 mins

Why do all this instead of getting a non shit gun? Sunk cost on full display

shit bait the 365x is better than your full size gluck

I honestly believe this is all samefagging.
It is safe to carry with one in the trigger, but yes, if you want you can easily put a safety into it with a grip module/cutting out a notch. Just make sure to train when you draw to flip off the safety

I think if it like this.

Are striker fired guns (sans p320) safe? Yes, but you must maintain nigh on perfect gun handling every hour of every day that you handle it, and it MUST be married to a holster to be safe. Competition shooters drive the meta unfortunately, and everyone wants to shoot like them. Add to that marketing about how "difficult" it is to learn to trigger pulls with a DA/SA and you see why they are so popular. Very cheap too produce, too. I'm my opinion, the SA trigger is like cheating on a DA/SA gun, so you really only have to learn the DA part.

I ditched striker fired guns. Now it's just a p32, 32 J frame or Px4. I really find it useful to have a handgun that is safe outside of the holster. I used to keep my g17 condition 3 (full mag, enough chamber) by the bedside. Now I just keep the px4 fully loaded, ready to go. I also carry the p32 and J frame with just a clip that is attached to the gun, I can't begin to tell you how convenient and comfortable that setup is over anything else.

Reject striker slop, return to DA.
