>76% of T-64s untouched
Why are they sitting on them?
>>
>>64496612
because they have no spare parts to refurbish them
>>
>>64496612
Empty steel hull
>>

>Why are they sitting on them?

These were made/upgraded in Kharkov.
Russia probably doesn't have the parts to make them operational on any sort of meaningful scale, and they'd have to come up with a modernization program from scratch to make them anything more than FPV bait.

>Why are they sitting on them?
Like guy said >>64496616
5TDF engine was produced in Ukraine. Russia has no spare parts and no new engiens. And these storage tanks rend to be stripped from engine parts first.
>>
>>64496612
Unironically too advanced for Russian industry at the moment.
>>
They don't have a production line for the engine and the transmission and turret (gun and autoloader, the FCS probably was removed 30 years ago) are useful as spares.
IIRC "Worse" literally means no turrets at minimum.
>>
>>64496612
Unruly hohol machine spirits
>>
Because they can't operate them in any normal way. The engine is too delicate for russian usage. No, I'm not joking.
>>
They should give them to me
>>
>>64497000
delicate engine is not usually a good thing

How many Russian brides will be available once this war is over? Will they be cheap to purchase?

Unironically less as they're all currently making bank off of marrying shmucks and sending them to get mulched and claiming both the signing bonus and cargo 200 value. Plus with the great curry migration they'll have the perfect bitchmade future husbands who can't withstand slavic BPD, domestic violence rates will do a complete 180.

Fuck.

Factory is in Ukraine.
>>
>the tanks they have the most of are t-62’s
Russia really was the most overestimated fighting force ever.
>>
>>64496612
also untouched by fuel and a full compliment of mechanical parts

>Russia really was the most overestimated fighting force ever.
The biggest mindfuck is realizing that the massive Soviet Army Group in East Germany was mostly there to prevent a revolution, not to fight NATO.

Why did Gorbachev throw in the towel without a fight? (Aside from killing a few Balt civvies IIRC)

Those are T-14s.

The economy was FUCKED. In way so bad that even Kremlin accounting couldn't fix it. From 1989 to 1991, Gorbachev was desperate for an international bailout of olympic proportions.
He wagered that even if the Warsaw Pact was a lost cause, he could still keep the USSR together in some form. As long as he got the West into buy into it, both literally and financially.
>>
>>64501405
Before the war the stockpiles were organized by conditions, if they were covered by some canvas even an autist can't id it. Worse condition were ID-ed by comparing the size and location of the turret ring.

Is this a top attack or did the slug go all the way through?
>>

Ukies somehow make it work

>opposed piston 2 stroke diesel
Yeah they're not touchin that lmao. Honestly I'm suprised theyre actually going through with restarting GTD-1250 production. Seems like they want to start leaning on T-80s more heavily in the future.
(Fun fact, the Uke T-84 uses an upgraded version of the T-64 engine since they didnt have access to the turbine production)
>>
>>64501481
Top attack, that's an NLAW.
>>
>>64501481
PARM 1 mine, HEAT. I don't think it went through and through, just some ricochet slag.

>>64501283
Nah. If their purpose was internal security, they would've been structured and equipped way differently.
>>
>>64496612
It's literally LosTech. Russia has lost the ability to fix and refurbish them but the Helm memory core is in Kyiv.
>>
>>64497787
Delicate by Russian standards means that you need to have an actually trained mechanic to keep it running.
>>
>>64498601

Why buy when you can rent?
