One on either side of your body. The smaller one in a ankle holster.
>>
Why not just get a compact gun instead of a little and big one?

>why not just get a tool thats worse at both functions

there is no point to a pistol that you do not intend to conceal. if you want one, cool, go right ahead, but do not think it has any rationale behind it (unless you are some actual operator that gets into grapples over your rifle where a pistol is actually useful)
the only two pistols you need are a G26 (or similar of course, but I like it because it takes any double stack 9mm Glock mag) and a Ruger MK IV (as a bag gun for taking small game with, also you can carry a fuckload of .22lr easily)
