>>64506560yeah.a guy at my local range was shooting one when it went off. they were picking up chunks of him off the ground.
>>64506560Only if you use bubba’s pissing hot ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++p load
>>64506579i thought they oob fire because the bolts are shit qc
>>64506566
>>64506605it's largely when people put triple quadruple epic tacticool triggers on it. it's a blowback gun and a civvy semi auto one at that. they don't like shit like that
>>64506605Some of the early 1st gen scorpions had bolts that would go out of spec if you put certain triggers in it and then shot 5000 rounds, there's an easy way to check if your bolt is one of those early bad ones. None of the newer Scorpions like in OP pic have that problem
>>64507123some of them shipped faulty too though. i think it's a gun to gun thing but as the years went on it probably got better
>>64506560>military/police/international models: no.>US civilian models: Still no, but with a few caveats. Essentially, they are reliable guns that meet NATO standards. But there was a part in the gun that helped prevent OOB detonations when firing in full auto. The ATF went full megagay and screamed that that part would make the gun too easy to convert to FA.For a semi auto platform? it didnt matter. It was backup safety anyway. NOW fast forward 10 years. People are throwing binary triggers, or doing weird drill into the frame jobs for super safeties. When doing tons of bump fire, like an excessive amount combined with a few rare bolts that have issues, you can find the video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t220BqjCYs&t=3sexplaining the bolt issue. TLDR its a problem on a few bolts, most people will never see this issue but this video will tell you how to check it. You should have a long time between the bolt getting fucked and an OOB.CZ has replaced all guns that have had this issue. New ones should not have this issue.IF you are still concerned, NEXUS makes a bunch of CZ scorpion parts, their upgraded bolt system not only reduces recoil but because of the higher strength of parts, gets rid of the potential for the OOB. So yes it had an issue, but its not a real problem since it can be solved cheaply if you are really worried or seen before its catastrophic. t. a guy with a fucking fetish for this gun
