It's just all so inferior and shitty and wasteful. The forward assist, the rear charging handle, the dust cover, the brass deflector. Stoner weeps.
Thank God for the aftermarket.

well played

But but what if I bought it 5 years ago and have grown incredibly smooth and accurate with it?

>tell me you're gay without telling me you're gay
Genuinely heterosexual males are not even aware of the little button's existence.
>>
Most heterosexual males, when asked where the forward assist is, point to the buffer tube. The fact you know where it is indicates you’re a homosexual or worse, a woman.

The AR is a gay gun to begin with. It's useful to the military in that it supports tactics of trained fireteams at 300M contact suppressiing and manouvering and pinning and getting firesupport or CAS. For an individual it's little better than dress up and play as a solider and inferior to nearly any other weapon like a scoped 270 or 243, semi auto 12 gague for hunting, or for self defense. It's mag dumping ability supports suppression which is pretty useless if you are on your own and outranged and it's main chambering is a bag of meh (the idea being to carry lots for suppression and pinning), close in it's a retarded choice compared to a 12 gague. Its mainly a dress up and play gun or a tard gun for preppers. The reason it's heavily marketed is it is cheap to make form cheap materials (it was intended to be) and therefore higher profit margin leaving more room for marketing it on NRA TV.

I doubt someone like you has ever shot an AR at more than 100 yards if that, attaining roughly the same or worse results as a 12 year old with a 22 might.

Troons love ARs because it was primarily designed for dainty ARVN troop in Vietnam and suits small phyically weak people.
>>
only fags care about the FA and make hating it their whole personality

I still don't get the controversy. Ive actually used mine quite a bit, particularly when teaching newbies who have a tendency to ride the charging handle back down.
>>
>>64562404
i have a dream of putting a side charging carry handle ~8" upper on this thing
>>
What the homosexual FUCK is up with this brass deflector?

It's a proxy war between inrangetv and chuds. The WWSD15 doesn't have one. karl played a part in that rifle's creation. Kyle Rittenhouse used his forward assist, karl hates Rittenhouse and people like him.

Welcome to /k/.
Where /k/ means "/k/ant own real guns".

Now that's a babe. The only YouTube I watch is Paul/roy and body cam footage, I only know karl because of this board. Anyway I think it's good to have. The only reason I can see not wanting it is because the flat sides are usually cheaper yeah? It's not like if it stops working the gun stops working.

The belly button? I don't believe that at all.

They sling across your back easier.

I have an AR10, though it probably kicks worse now than pretran idk I’m just seeing it again recently

lol lmao even

Don't worry about it, the OP just showed some random picture of AR.
>>

Part of it is wannabe snobs acting like the FA ruins what would've been the greatest rifle ever and we should just use exactly what Eugene intended (ignoring that the SR-15 has one, a rifle Eugene directly developed for KAC). Part of it is, as mentioned before, a war between Karl simps and Rittenhouse fans
>>
>>64563460
I mean you're not wrong but I'd say teaching them not to ride the charging handle in the first place is more important.

Pre-Inrange it was mostly caused by normie retards not understanding AR mechanics and having only ever dealt with pristine rifles on a pristine range. There's plenty of combat veterans who have used the FA. Turns out the durkadurkastan is really dusty, the condition of some issued rifles just suck, and they don't have the luxury of stopping and cleaning their rifle because they're getting fucking shot at.

Post-Inrange it was Stoner/Rittenhouse worship wars
People for some reason get fucking offended when it gets pointed out that Stoner never actually used his rifle and creator bias is absolutely a thing. While Air Force base guards did see a lot of action in Vietnam their needs and the needs of front line infantry are wildly different, no shit the Army wanted to make changes before they adopted the M16.

And then you have Rittenhouse worship which is even more annoying because it's no longer a question of mechanics, usage needs, or skill but the fact that their precious boy can do no wrong.

>AR is
due to adoption in 1964-65 as the standard infantry rifle by U.S. military as M16, decades later (*after* the 1980s, the 1989 import ban, and additionally the 1990s AWB that later expired) the most common and popular """""""platform""""""" (<---bullshit that didn't exist in the 1980s-earlier) of semi-automatic rifle not only on American """"""""civilian"""""""" market but also in post-1990s military rifles.
tl/dr after the '90s the AR """""""""platform""""""""" became the Toyota Camry of semiautomatic rifles. It's like kleenex. (Also see the post-1980s path of the company named glock, and how their """"""""pattern"""""""" of plastic frame striker fired is now the Toyota Camry of semiauto handguns) That's it that's all
nobody really gaf about ARs except for the fact that we're now globally imprisoned by the """""""""platform"""""""""" Plenty of other ways to design build a mil select fire rifle, and a semiauto rifle.
