from officer training at Bad Tolz. You are the cream of the Panzer Elite and are ready to fight for a new Europe. The Fatherland is proud of you.

Due to the necessity of war your first command will be of a tank company ready for action immediately!

It is comprised of one captured kv 2.

Goodluck!

Discuss captured armour in use by foreign forces or just shoot the shit, I drgaf

How come we never saw ISIS using captured Iraqi equipment like Humvees? Did they ever try and get the Abrams working?

They had WWI tier logistics

While captured T-34s were seen in large numbers at Kursk, we rarely hear of the KV being used. It could have been a direct fire support vehicle, combining the large caliber and heavy armor that was sorely needed during the Battle of Stalingrad.

generally were they just used until breakdown and then blown up or did they try and service them in the field. how would they get spare parts?

The tactical use is primarily as a bunker buster or possibly an artillery piece.
On the one hand, I'm glad to be in the rear with the gear.
On the other, I'm sad being a tank ace isn't on the cards.
On the third hand, I'm disgusted to be stuck inna shitty slav shitboxe and my only consolation is that they don't have the air to ground capacity to pose a credible threat.
Also, where's my ammo?

11 rounds we scavenged. Some look damaged.

>>64564927
That's a mobile artillery piece. Again, in the rear with the gear, but unfortunately, the British and Americans had the capacity to target specific ground targets with regularity.

Looks like we'll be infantry shortly, boys.
>>
Large numbers of captured field guns and AA guns were reworked to fit German ammunition, but the use of captured tanks required a huge number of consumable parts, making this a tedious process.
>>
>>64564957
Definitely. M7 were used by the Bundeswehr and Nazi Germany always used straight crosses.
>>
>>64564755
They used a lot of it yes, especially vehicular

It was the norm for every army except the American Army and the British army due to American aid.
>>
>>64575067
>It was the norm for every army except the American Army and the British army
Which made the bulk of the western allies after a certain point in the war.

>British army due to American aid.
Majority of the truck production would have been domestic(within the British Empire), not sure about how many lend-lease trucks were sent, but the only reasons I can think of American aid would be decisive would be fuel or considering Canadian production as American.

Soviets were the greatest recipient of foreign trucks.

>Which made the bulk of the western allies after a certain point in the war.
What's supposed to be the point here?
>Majority of the truck production
Nigger, you need oil to fuel trucks.
>not sure about how many lend-lease trucks were sent
281,000 trucks (and other motor vehicles) went to then British Empire.
>>
>>64576062
>What's supposed to be the point here?
They were the Western Allies esp. when they had motorized logistics.

>281,000 trucks (and other motor vehicles) went to then British Empire.
You're going to have to figure out how much of that was other motor vehicles to make a point. Beyond there were about 800,000 vehicles in that vague category produced by Canada.

>Of the 800,000 military vehicles of all types built in Canada, 168,000 were issued to Canadian Forces. Thirty-eight percent of the total Canadian production went to the British. The remainder of the vehicles went to the other Allies.
>>
>>64573109
Absolute idiot take.

Hint: The Kaisers army wouldn't have been able to pull off the logistics required for the advances in '39 and '40 (let alone Barbarossa) in their wildest dreams.

Stop fucking guessing, you dumb nigger.

I was just helping a low information/low IQ poster out here.

You're so focused on arguing, you can't be bothered to look up easily available public information that would actually be relevant to your argument.
Actual subhuman behaviour. The point remains:

The ones that were occupied for most of the war or could possibly be categorized with the British? Which surely could never have motorized without US vehicle production and the only plausible source of oil for any of those countries anywhere they operated was from the US.
>>
>>64578043
The norms of the war aren't based on who doesn't get conquered by Germans, anon.
But yes
