Could 80 roman legionaires Just wait out a Chariot to finish all their arrows and for the horses to tire out?
>>
would stand to reason, yeah.

the idea behind chariot warfare is specifically that after you fire all your arrows, you go home and get more arrows. The ability to choose when you engage and disenage the enemy is specifically the point of using chariots.

the actual attack is unlikely to kill or injure more than one or two enemy soldiers, but when you are doing it for nine hours while they are trying to march from one place to another, it adds up.

>Don't worry. The fletcher they are resupplying from is going to run out of feathers soon. Wait. I think he's raising chicken now.
