Itt : protest and counter protest weapons.I am fascinated by the ingenuity of some of these homebrewed pew pews. What is your opinion on the most cost-effective solutions on both sides? For dissidents, at the one end of the spectrum we have water bottles, on the other, IEDs and 3d printed guns. For security forces, it goes from riot gear and pepper spray to....sound weapons? Let's draw the line at full on civilian massacre solutions like tank goes splat or gassing villages.
like this, what is this even? do people make them out of fireworks??
>ingenuity >its just the the same 3d printed gun we've seen for years now
>>64566409>law enforcementDEW. It doesn't matter who you are, you will try to escape when it feels like you are on fire. There's nothing you can do to a mob short of actually put real fire behind them to make them charge towards the sensation of being burned alive. It doesn't even take that much applied energy to cause the pain response needed >civiliansAnything available to kill government agents, enforcers, and officials. Eventually someone will stop doing the shit that's getting them taken out. If outright mass slaughter from the government isn't an option this way will win in the end.>that sounds dystopianThat's because it is.
this is the classic, but would argue it doesn't do much
DIE MONSTER
>>64566481Wow the disinfo guys really fucked with that one. Almost all of it is wrong.
The greatest weapon of the protestor is dedication to the cause. The second-greatest weapon is the one that fucks assholes up and looks cool doing it.
>>64568693massive hato funding at work
>>64566409>What is your opinionIllegal weapons should be confiscated. Prohibited possesos should be prosecuted.
>>64566409Political violence is bullshit in a demoracy. It's not a protest when used it's treason.
>>64569007Democracy is bullshit when it becomes anarcho tyranny. It's not a democracy when the government uses all of its power to crack down on the only useful demographic (White people).
>>64568874>I accept disregarding the 2nd amendment to any/every degree possible eventually you fuds will have to accept it only serves to make good people into felons >omigosh a FELON !!??
>>64569007i don't care about political violence or authoritarian violence, I just want to see cool homemade arms
>>64568693Riots are larps. Definitionally, any "fight" without substantial casualties is irrelevant.
>>64569007>>64568874A Law is a threat of lethal violence made from the government towards the governed.A Right is a threat of lethal violence made from the governed towards the government.Monopoly of force is a meme, human society is, was, and always will be definitionally a network of suspended conditional threats of mass physical violence, and the contrary position ironically always results in genocide.
Riots aren’t real. The only “riots” I ever saw were niggers looting stores in Los Angeles. If rioters were leftists advocating for the vaccine, then I would be rioting rioters. When have rioters ever rioted rioters and not wanted to put up with their fake bullshit anymore.
>>64572583Anon, the pro-Russian regime was having snipers pick off protestors in the 2014 revolution. A terrible idea on their part, because all it did was piss them off and go from "Let us work with the EU" to "Fuck this it's time for a revolt".
>>64566481>>64568688this.make it like a finn or don't make it at all unless you're a communist, then follow this pic
>>64573716>The government shot us at will when they felt like it>So then we gave up on the Larp and decided to have a real battleSo in other words you've proved my point. The russians brought a Larp to a gunfight and learned the hard way to fight for real.
>>64566409Has artillery ever been used to either break up a protest or disperse the counterprotest?
>>64575606Sure, Iran was shelling their own cities a bit in their latest teetering.
>>64566409bump
>>64566481the iconic protestors weapon
>>64566409unless we can find a way to nullify sonic or dazzler weapons, 21st century rioters are fucked
I have done a lot of thinking about it. Even in a "mild" protest vs rioter clash, the organisation of the anti riot forces gives them a huge advantage against protestors. And polycarbonate shields are totally OP, unless you had protestors trained to handle them (one pulls with a hook type weapon, another takes out the cop). I'm wondering if solvents could be sprayed on them to cause the polycarbonate protections to shatter easily.
>>64578978Unironically pelt them with sustromming and attack when they're doubled over vomiting.
>>64579100>pelt them with sustrommingwarcrime
>>64578577Anon the government can shoot the rioters whenever it wants. Riots are part of the control mechanism.
>>64578978There are a few solvents that will absolutely wreck polycarbonate labware (concentrated toluene comes to mind) but nothing that works at that kind of speed that would be safe for the user to handle like that.
>>64575606Napoleon did, multiple times.
>>64581485to an extent, yesbut unlike a battle, the key factor in riot management is shutting it down as "peacefully" as possible, using the least "socially-unacceptable" methodsnonlethals like sonic weapons don't carry the same stigma as shooting rioters, even if from a purely logical point of view you kill fewer rioters to achieve the same ends
>>64566429To me, yeah. That looks like a couple of fireworks packs pallet-wrapped to a plank of wood...
