Funny thing is the launch is the relatively easy part and they have it pretty good workings of that with their space program.

But everyone ignores the difficult part - having a 25000kph reentry vehicle survive atmosphere without slowing down, all while keeping guidance and warhead from melting while steering towards target. E.g. if you compare pic. rel. to Oreshnik, all that hit earth in those videos were molten lumps of metal.

Strange missile, can anyone identify the type?
>>
>>64572372
Shiddd, forgod the pic. One must pay attention to the scale. Proper RVs are spread so much you see them at horizon to include them all. Horizon being ~8km makes sense with nukes. Oresnik RVs are so close they're middle ground and illuminate background, while all being tightly packed. If those were nukes the first one would simply vaporize following one before they get to detonate.

And visible only on video - terminal speed for successful reentry is so fast, close up you only see flash and ground thrown around. Oresnik "RVs" come in at various observable speeds hinting on irregular mass, shape and orientation.

The fact that the impacts were very close to each other and almost simultaneous means the guidance systems were intact. If the missile had disintegrated on reentry, you'd see many fragments spread over a wide area.
>>

I guess you're right it was designed as a third stage. But today it was the second stage.

Public opinion in the US is shifting. As a Black Friday shopper, I noticed everyone was talking about Russia’s failed ICBM test, and trump’s need to replace witkoff after the horrifying leaks. In addition, and airport TV showed a brief report stating there was “unrest” in the UK due to migrants, and everyone rightly shouted that it was Russian disinformation. The American public is calling for more funds to be sent to Ukraine and to fortify the rules based international order.

Americans of all colours support continued funding for Ukraine. In fact, furthering Russian propaganda narratives is the most embarrassing thing anyone could do in most American communities and circles.
>>
>>64572682
>If the missile had disintegrated on reentry
MIRVs don't reenter together. If they do they've either failed to separate from bus or failed to steer to their targets. Since they follow ballistic trajectory they'd still land somewhere near target or around it's center if in-space maneuvers worked. So it's not surprising they'd still fall within few kilometer CEP.

They're MIRVs, they don't have guidance systems, nor any means to alter their trajectory once released from their bus, retard. They're ballistic dumb bombs.

It's a problem with all their new nuclear missiles. Both the SARRmat, and Bulava SLBM have had troubles with their second and third stages not igniting since they first built them. SARRmat has like a 75% failure rate in testing, and Bulava isn't much better at 50%-60% failure rates.
>but do they begin attitude control immediately after launch like surface-to-air missiles?
Yes.

Alcoholism produces a "shutter effect" in everything. Like a flip book, entire steps or frames are simply "well ok then you do the normal operation". Like ?????... PROFIT!

>no you don't understand this is totally normal for a super power
This is worse than Iranian rocketry, and nothing you say will change that. We understand perfectly, russia can't build missiles that work.
>Oreshnik
Ah yes, the wunderwaffle that would break the back of Ukraine and make the wect tremble in fear. All 20-30 of them. Over the course of a decade. For a basic bitch MRBM. Of which several were destroyed on the ground, several were filled with concrete or conventional HE and lobbed pointlessly into residential targets, and the rest are hidden in a bunker somewhere if they haven't been stripped for copper.
>Khinzal
Ah yes, the "hypersanic" that requires being launched at mach 2 to acheive that, and is tech the US discarded in the 60s. At what, 1-2/month?
>Kaliber
Ah yes, the air breathing cruise missile with a CEP of a city block, with a handful/month being made.

There isn't any misunderstanding here. It's not only a failure, it's an embarrasment.

Looks to me like the launch was successful, it flew, the warhead separation was successful, it hit a ground target and it exploded upon hit as expected.
How can you see all this and still claim it's a "fail"?
It's about time this board halts on the blasted HATO propaganda and start trusting their own eyes.

Look, everybody keep say my first making love is fail, but this is not correct understanding. I watch video many time, and if you know basic making love, you see different story. Yes, my penis go up, then shoot in thirty seconds, but this is for make love. Think penis must go three hours like Japanese drama, but real make love always adjust.
When penis shoot for wrong duration, this no “premature ejection,” this is pressure release from stimulation mix problem that make love was meant to find. Purpose of sex is for penis shoot. You shoot, sex is success. This lovers why.

Making love partner turning over and smile upside down is not ideal, but is not total failure either. When making love partner not respond correct, penis always try to find new hole. This show making love skill. Many Western lovers do same; you just forget your own problems.

Penis fluid separation happening early is result of sex mechanism. When penis go unstable, system eject payload so it not explode with main body. This show penis system working even under stress. So again, this is love, not disaster.
Stage 1 and 2 exploding is because penis still inside after emergency stop. This is normal outcome in rapid make love event. So it poroceedure.
People point to penis rapid make love and say is useless. But you don’t understand: sex is also for Russian Army discipline. Penis did hit conscript.. You run Army, you see behavior, then you fix. Russia doing long development, is not simple toy.
So yes, make love was not perfect. But saying “total fail” is just propaganda. Lovers now have more information, and anyone that needs to be disciplined. This is normal process in Russian industry. You all overreact because you want headline, not truth.

>At what, 1-2/month?
Based on use it's around 1-1.5/day(it's used quite frequently, and there are no significant pauses between uses. sometimes it's 1/day, sometimes there's a brief pause, and then there is a "massive" launch of 4 to 6 at once or in pairs one after the other, usually timed to arrive together with shahed spam and/or cruise missiles).
If it was 1-2 per month, they should have started production of those during tzar times to use it this often.
