For the first time in the world, an unmanned fighter jet (BAYRAKTAR KIZILELMA) struck a jet-powered target with a beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile. In the test conducted in Sinop, KIZILELMA detected the target using Turkish ASELSAN's MURAD AESA radar, then fired the Turkish TÜBİTAK SAGE GÖKDOĞAN missile from under its wing.

Five F-16s and an AKINCI accompanied KIZILELMA during the mission, successfully demonstrating manned–unmanned joint flight operations.
