I have a tisas railed 1911, what’s a good affordable IWB holster for it? I don’t want to spend too much because hopefully one day I’ll have an actual colt to replace it
>>
>>64583721
>From the holster too
Were chucked here, not doing that :)
>>
>>64583772
Most railed 1911 holsters are compatible. People tend to make the guns similar.

I would say a kydex holster would be the best since they’re more safe due to how rigid they are

Legacy Firearms Co
JMCK
>>
>>64583810
Gotcha so any mil spec railed 1911 holster should work? I appreciate it man
>>
>>64583849
Most places sell 1 railed holster or multiple that depend on dust cover length. The dust cover of a railed 1911 are usually the same width but some of them are longer and some are full length like the TRP operator
>>
>>64583869
Gotcha so it would be safest to avoid any specific 1911 models, such as that TRP?
>>
>>64583869
NTA but JMCK doesn't. Their wing claw AIWB holster is for springfield type rails. The Colt rail is significantly taller.

Legacy says "Mil spec rail" but that doesn't mean anything, there is no milspec except the M45A1 and if they did that super loose fitment a normal railed 1911 would wiggle around.

>>64583772
Just don't buy a Colt at all, they fucking suck. There is no reason to buy a Colt at all except for the rollmark. They're too shit to even keep around as heirloom guns, especially their repulsive looking rail guns.
>>
>>64583885
I have a Legacy holster and it fits my Dan Wesson Specialist well
>>
>>64583681
Maybe I'm biased, but that is a beautiful Beretta, and would buy for granddaughter.
>>
>>64583681
The count is off but this is a troll OP so who cares.
>>
>>64583885
Well fuck, what would you say is the right move/choice for a tisas duty? As for Colt, idk the m45 kinda has my heart even if it’s not particularly good or cheap. If I could get it under 1.5k I would
>>
I've been obsessively researching the claim than 44 special is "quieter" for concealed carry. What I'm coming up with is that it's quieter than 357 magnum but probably not worth it. The biggest issue is that you're looking at charter arms for a carry option and...no. I can't do it.

Anyone actually have experience with this? It's lower pressure than 38 special, but is that actually meaningful?

Also has anyone tried the Galloway siguard trigger shoe for the lcp2? There's lots of hiss reviews, but on their site. I want to believe, but just lowering the travel can't make THAT much of a difference, can it?

Those are specifically made for a handgun and probably handfit to the frame’s pic rails. That’s a special order handgun since I haven’t seen a 92X Performance without a front sight cut other than Team Beretta shooters.

They do but most of them are shit, especially the universal ones. They also put the optic incredibly high over bore to the point of extreme awkwardness.

G41, so yes 21 was ok but it had this one problem where Glock just have it way too thick of a slide, so some cops complained and they made 41 for them. And then they just abandoned the whole idea and clearly only want to make 9mm pistols from now on.

My current trio of 92s.

The blue one for USPS Open \ Major Power Factor (125gr blue bullet at 1370fps). Also does a bit of steel challenge. Runs a 20lb recoil spring and a neoprene buffer.

The black one for multigun \ 2GACM or where with a bit of rough-and-tuble. Has ports from LTT. Just shoot plain old 115gr blue bullets minor power factor.

The silver one to just look cool and be quiet. 165gr plated bullets over 3.0gr Titegroup. The can is a .45acp length pistol can but with a full stack of 9mm baffles and end cap.

It does, at least in USPSA. I can't speak on behalf of IDPA, IPSIC or anything else. USPSA is power factor >=165, and most people aim for 170.
>>
>>64584412
Oh yeah, the blue one actually has two gas pedals now to satisfy my advanced autism and need for symmetry. You can shoot it with an advanced technique of using both at once.

The gigantic comp does an amazing job of reducing recoil. Despite having about 1.5x the energy of a standard 9mm, there is no additional perceived recoil. Only noise, and affect on steel targets and especially pistol spinners.
>>

The two I use for practical shooting (the blue and the black one) are both 92X Performance models with a frame-mounted safety, and effectively single action only. No issue here!

I'm just a low-B, high-C class shooter. Might be like top 3% among all handgun shooters, but plainly middle of the pack among "serious" competitors.

>>
>>64584673
As I expected the SL Variant was and is perfection.
>>
>>64584740
It is functionable!
>>
>>64584561
What is the tiny single action overlayed on the sp101?
>>
>>64584746
Safariland Comp 1, this is the speed loader I carry in my pocket. It's not quite as fast or fluid as the SL Variant, but so land as you have the gun pointed down to let gravity aid you, it is fast and keep the cartridges held more securely than the SL Variant.
>>
>>64584764
It is also FUNCTIONABLE!

>>64584752
I think it is a color case hardened Colt SAA. I don't really remember.
>>
>>64584767
HKS 36. Old reliable. It is a bit more likely to jam up on the stock grip, but it holds the cartridges very securely and if you release with the gun held vertically, they go right in. Overall 6.5 out of 10.
>>
>>64584790
It is FUNCTIONABLE!
>>
>>64584796
Bianchi Speed Strip. The boomer classic! Overall it works. That's it. The spacing isn't quite right, but it's close enough that it doesn't really matter. Besides who ever needed to reload in a firefight anyway. . .
>>
>>64584804
It works. I guess you can do partial reloads, but if you think you will need to reload, you should probably use a speed loader. It's nice for a second reload that you will never use, though.
>>
>>64584814
Zeta 6 Speed strip/sim strip. These are a straight upgrade to the Bianchi ones. They are properly spaced, but they are still speed strips. In case you are wondering, the difference is that the Regular stripper is 2, 2, 1, whereas the Sim strip is 2, 1, 2, when loading.
>>
>>64584828
This one is the sim strip. It is nice because it doesn't matter which end you grab it by, the reload is the same.
>>
>>64584855
With the regular Zeta 6 Stripper, my reloads are a bit faster than the sim or Bianchi, but are still nowhere near as fast as with a proper speed loader.
>>
>>64584866
Now for an Interesting option. The Zeta 6 J Clip. It basically amounts to a speed strip, shaped like a speed loader with a pull tab. These are by far the best bang for the buck speed reloading device out there. Are they as good as the real speed loaders? Almost, but not quite. I quite like these and if I were a poorfag, these would be my go to.
>>
>>64584866
These are BY FAR the fastest speed strips out there. They have their flaws, but really, they are a great option.
>>
>>64584446
Hehe nice
>>
>>64584890
Now for my favorite reloading system, the Zeta 6 J Pack. Just look at them, THEY NEST TOGETHER! It basically gives you two reloads in the space of one semi auto mag. Not quite as fast as the J Clip, but much faster than regular strips.
>>
>>64584894
You get a good solid grip on them, they are less likely to be dropped because of their shape and how you hold them, the are pretty fast to boot, and on top of all that, they are cheap and you get 2 of them when you buy them. 10 out of 10!
>>
>>64584917
Now for a not so good one. The revision CV 38 grip pod. They just don't fit J frames or the SP101. . .
>>
>>64584922
I have even tried it with a J frame with no grips at all on and it does this.
>>
>>64584965
HOWEVER this is probably the best speed loader for the LCR by a good bit! It is basically a safariland comp 1, only much easier to use.
Yes I was swearing the entire time during the SP101 gif with the Revision CV loader and I had to shorten the video a good bit to make it fit. . .
>>
>>64584987
This is the last loader I am testing/reviewing for now as I am sleepy.
5 Star Arms Loader. It's pretty, easily the most aesthetically pleasing, but basically an HKS with a bigger, but shorter know that turns the other way. I am actually going to have to send this one back as it is a lemon that doesn't work right so I reserve ultimate judgement for when the replacment arrives. 5 star is sending me a replcment along with a shipping label at no cost to me and if I don't like the replacement, I can send both back for a full refund. My opinion on the loader must wait, but I give 5 Star Arms 5 stars for customer service!
>>
>>64584995
Overall I like it. It doesn't work with my J frames at all, but it does work with my SP101 quite well. Weird. . .
>>
>>64585002
When I say "at all" really I mean that it binds and would get you "KILT IN DA STREETZ". It sorta works, but my HKS, SL Variant, and Safariland loaders, as well as all the strippers work. For a loader that is only beaten in price by the SL Variant, I expected it to work, but that's why I am getting a replacement. We shall see if the replacement does better. . .

Anyway, that's all for now! I hope you fags enjoyed the content I made that nobody asked for. Let me know if I should buy any other loaders to test! I have an LCR, Taurus 856, Several J Frames, and 2 SP101s to test them on.

Normally I would agree with you, but really it's no different than a F1 or Nascar. Competition shit like that is all about show and flash, so why not? Would I ever be caught dead with one, no, but for a gun whose only intended purpose is to poke holes in paper as fast as humanly possible... go apeshit just like Dale Jr plastering Budweiser logos across the hood of his car.

Been seeing a lot of hammer guns on this board recently, so I decided to throw my hat into the ring. One of these cost $600 after taxes, and the other cost my grandpa

Is that the clone you have to order from Japan or the original one? I need to get one for my k frames. I hear the newer ones allow you to adjust the feed angle.

These are my favorite.

These are loud when you walk around with them it's like a maracca.
Also there's one new loader I've been seeing a lot lately that looks kind of interesting.

It is one of the Japanese clones. Apparently you can adjust them, but I'm not really sure how. I don't think there was anything in the instructions about it. I'll have to find my instructions.

A magazine for a revolver? Never seen that one, now I've seen everything. Seems like more of a single action revolver thing to me, but I guess it could theoretically be faster than a stripper. I don't see how they can advertise it as being more concealable than a speed loader though. Kinda neat, but sonsidering I can get SL Variant clones for less, I don't see why someone would choose that over a speed loader or even Zeta 6 options. 65 dollars is a lot to ask for a magazine that only seems to hold 8 rounds and has limited functionality with 357 mag. Maybe if it held like 10-15 rounds and had a short cord attached to it so you could reload, drop it, and still keep it retained to carry more reloads would it be worth it. As it stands, you only get 1 full reload, plus a few extras for a J frame. It's just drop insurance I guess.

>Yes, excessive and chronic alcohol consumption can lead to feminization through several mechanisms, some of which are separate from the phytoestrogens in beer itself.
Liver Function: The original theory for why alcoholic men developed feminine traits was that alcohol-induced liver damage led to the retention of excess estrogens in the body, as the liver typically clears these hormones.
Testicular Effects: Men's testicles were observed to start shrinking even before serious liver disease developed.
General Disruption: Overall, chronic alcohol use disrupts hormone levels, which can manifest as feminization symptoms like "man boobs" (gynecomastia).

Wow, what the fuck?

That magazine loader thing might be better but people have been using desert eagle mags to keep spare 357 in for carry for a while, and the use of 1911 mags for 45 ACP revolvers and 38 wadcutters goes back even further. It's cheaper than that thing too, although still slower and easier to mess up a reload than speed strips or a speedloader.
