Thank you by communicating, via projection, that we really are in the final quarter of this game. I'm thinking about writing a letter to Robert Bales asking him what he would say to a kid that thinks what he did was cool. How far do you think you would spiral if you had a handwritten letter from your idol telling you that you are a fucking loser? Who would you take it out on? The National Guard? Your mommy? The local recruiting station? No, I think you would just compartmentalize and pretend it's not true, that having your hero mortally wound your ego didn't collapse your entire worldview.

Robert, you're trying to blame the world for why you didn't get to serve, but everyone keeps telling you that it's your own fault. You grew up wanting to be a soldier more than anything, but when you were told "No", you couldn't move on, just like so many real soldiers that came back home and don't want to do anything else but go back. You're just like them, except you don't even know what you're missing out on.

If you are reasonably fit BCT and AIT isn't that hard. I was 20 and mostly fit I ran a few miles easily worked out 2 to 5 times a week consistently, 50 push-ups max maybe before enlistment maybe 100 situps max at the time. I was in AG hold on 911 and they pushed us but it was not that hard. Nowadays I'd do a long dose of IVM before I hit the plane the worst part was the peteidish sickness the first month for me. Sand hill was cool, the ruck at the end for the cord was the hardest part. I stayed above middle of the pack and got everything I wanted from it including air assault.. got pulled into science cause of test scores though. oh well.

He posted his DD214, which explicitly states that he was kicked out of the Army for violating DOD Law of War 5.2. Now he spends his days trying to make a case that, since other people in the Army were bad, he shouldn't have been kicked out. That's why he's now posting pictures of vets that committed crimes - he's just upset that they got to serve and he didn't.

>>
>>64609291
You aren't on any sort of blacklist, but you will have to explain why you backed up. Switching things up on you last minute wasn't cool, but they are just going to cite "needs of the service". If you get a second chance, there will be an expectation that you stick with it. Back out again and you're done.

>but they are just going to cite "needs of the service"

Don't get married, don't go in debt for motor vehicles, use TSP etc and use your education bennies every time you get the chance. One of the biggest asspains as a supervisor is getting good troops to take advantage of adult education and free degree which also helps you make rank.

Is the new trolling technique just spamming about the troll until bump limit with NO relevant on-topic posts?

>>64608918
Confirmed for not being enlisted.
Junior single enlisted who aren't retarded always have disposable income because they basically have no overhead. I quite enjoyed collecting motorcycles and the flexible Air Force flightline manning schedule permitted shift changes I'd not get elsewhere. A wisely chosen military career has a shitload of leisure time to make up for annoyances. A month's leave every year is magnificent, and the combo of disposable income and time is outstanding especially when overseas. I enjoyed Germany, Turkey and South Korea and didn't mind sand box deployments at all.

Compensation including the benefit package is well worth it.
Never feeling recessions for the rest of your adult life if you go career is amazing. Certainty
of income is more enabling than feast or famine at the whims of Wall Street.

Americans love war so why not give the voters what they ask for? Americans including brown people like blowing up brown people and so indicate with the utter honesty of money. You're welcome for my cervix.

So I'm a 19D in the National Guard and my section is being moved from an HHC to an actual infantry company but the switch requires all us to become 11Bs. The thing is that we also have the option to transfer out of the unit and can pick a completely different MOS so I choose a bunch of 35 series jobs. My 1SG told me that since I have a high GT score I'm just wasting my abilities as a scout and that I shouldn't have much issue transferring over to intel. That being said I'm wondering what actually are the chances of me being able to successfully transfer over because I have a bad feeling that my request is going to be shot down.

Is there any reason to go military over federal LEO if your able to?
Seems like you can get the same /k/ experience joining Border Patrol, or DSS at some point if you want overseas action. Plus the pay bump from going feds over military would make the GI Bill or VA Home Loan obsolete. Federal benefits seem to mog military benefits. And some GS-13 guys in BP are making +$130k and Marshal's like $225k. Plus you have more autonomy and could quit if you wanted.

If you can skip the military service and go directly into fed work, then do so. The carrot on the stick for going MP is easy access to all lines of LEO work after getting out.

>The carrot on the stick for going MP is easy access to all lines of LEO work after getting out
Caveat. It's not easy. Any PD, USA doesn't give a fuck about whether or not you were MP. You could do another MOS that doesn't suck and still apply to any police station.
MP has some of the shittiest details in the Army period.
MP has the shittiest promotions.
E-1 through E-4 get the shittiest possible details and duty.
Superiors will treat you like garbage, others will too especially those you have to question.
The slight bright side is that you might (depending on the unit) get experience using certain drones in training exercises, although this is not guaranteed.
Otherwise just fucking pick another MOS, leave MP to the guys whose dad and granddad was a cop and the retards who didn't do their research.
>>

it depends on the unit and what they have planned. it would be difficult to give you a blanket schedule for the entire field that would be accurate. but yeah yo ass will almost certainly be up before 0600 daily. if you are attached to something like a MEU or another deployment you will have a very packed schedule.
