I was 20 and mostly fit I ran a few miles easily worked out 2 to 5 times a week consistently, 50 push-ups max maybe before enlistment maybe 100 situps max at the time. I was in AG hold on 911 and they pushed us but it was not that hard. Nowadays I'd do a long dose of IVM before I hit the plane the worst part was the peteidish sickness the first month for me. Sand hill was cool, the ruck at the end for the cord was the hardest part. So I'm a 19D in the National Guard and my section is being moved from an HHC to an actual infantry company but the switch requires all us to become 11Bs. The thing is that we also have the option to transfer out of the unit and can pick a completely different MOS so I choose a bunch of 35 series jobs. My 1SG told me that since I have a high GT score I'm just wasting my abilities as a scout and that I shouldn't have much issue transferring over to intel. That being said I'm wondering what actually are the chances of me being able to successfully transfer over because I have a bad feeling that my request is going to be shot down.
