Yeah of course it's no Eotech, Trijicon, Aimpoint etc but all of my experience with them has been good. It's a budget brand and frankly it's better than any Sig, Vortex etc product I've had. Is it just the made in china meme? For example my HM3X is an amazing magnifier FOR THE PRICE. My 510c is an amazing optic FOR THE PRICE.

I don't actively hate on holosun, I've even owned one of their IR lasers. I think their logo is super tacky though, and that's one of the reasons I don't buy from them. It's a stupid reason, I know. Also a more legitimate reason why I don't like them is that same IR laser I had sat really high with its QD cantilever, which would also loosen way too quickly. It could sit lower, and potentially more securely if they made the LS321G with a lower mount/screw comparable to other lasers.

I’ll never forgive them for discontinuing the hs403r, the best budget dot by far. None of their other dots compare. The aro is worse, the hs5xx series have useless gimmicks but are decent, their pistol dots take goofball batteries and have shitty loading trays, but the 403r’s were fucking amazing. Glad i have like 8-10 of them on ak’s, rimfire shit, fun guns. Not a huge fan of their mailboxes and if i wasnt a battery autist the pistol dots would be appealing.

Now this is the way.
>>65172316
510c is decent but i need enclosed where i live (rainy as fuck). My buddy in maine has one and it is a good dot. I do like their magnifiers too, glass is almost on par to a g33 and unless you are holding both side by side you really cant tell the difference.

I shit on them exclusively because people used to shill the fuck out of them like it was an actual ad campaign here. It got really obnoxious at one point.

Obligatory

Because they spent over double for a Trijicon and now have to justify spending that amount for less features.

>It's a budget brand
There's your answer. Richfag wannabes are the only ones who care about that. I've noticed that irl richfags will still buy the most premium option but without talking shit on others to further justify their purchase.
>>
>>65174449
The wealthier gun owners I know stick to quality scopes or irons. They do tend to be older though.
>>
>>65174455
That's what I mean, they still buy premium shit, they just don't denigrate other people/things in the process. That's a wannabe thing. I've had a lot of jobs where I either delivered and installed shit in people's homes, or repaired shit at their homes. Poorfags and richfags were roughly equally decent, even pleasant to deal with; it was the people who were firmly middle class up to their eyeballs in debt with their status items in their development houses who were almost always dicks.

We don't. Next thread.

I used to have just over 20, until the boating incident.

Because it's a communist-owned optics manufacturer for the People's Liberation Army.
For all the supposed patriotism and anti-communism of supposed right wing Americans, they'll literally fund, do R&D for, and defend a CCP shell company training to kill Americans.

>>
>>65174561
You niggers bitch about chinaese optics but never give a better option and just tell americans to suck it up and pay overpriced old shit.
>>
>>65174561
Leupold tries, or at least tried with the Freedom series. Nothing is stopping other companies from trying to step up as well with American alternatives.

I own holosun, meprolight, aimpoint, and trijicon dots. The holosun is fine for anything light duty or range use. I got the MRO specifically for a full auto FAL, I don't trust a holosun to hold up to f/a 308 recoil. In comparison, the Mepro HUD would blink in between bursts on a f/a AR15 in 5.56, so I had to switch to a Comp M4.
>>
>>65174600
Vortex is the correct answer.
>>
>>65174667
Something I've never understood, is the unwritten law that obligates Vortex optics owners to put the free Vortex sticker on their trucks
>>
>>65174667
Vortex uses the same electronics as homosun, same as Sig optics.
>>

Heavy as fuck clunker pieces of shit

They're from SEAmonkeys iirc, so at least not giving money directly to chinkistan. It's sigslop that's chinkshit

>I got the MRO specifically for a full auto FAL, I don't trust a holosun to hold up to f/a 308 recoil.
The FAL in general has a reputation for being hard on optics, that said, my L1A1 hasn't broken any optics I put on it. Damn maybe I should put the older Holosun I got for cheap on mine just for testing, just need a lower mount for it because it came with a high mount

I've had a good experience with the EPS carry on a 365 and the 509T-X2 on a 1301. Adjustments are reliable, reticles are fine, they take moderate abuse and keep on working, battery life is good.

Not a big fan of their super budget options, but their pricier enclosed optics seem to be worth the cost of entry.
>>
>>65174646
I've had a 509T survive hundreds of shells of 00 buck 12ga Fed flight control. Not exactly a gentle recoil impulse on a gas operated 12ga. No worse for wear.

Not too many do shit on Holosun with exception for the fact they're Chinese but some of their options have been through impressive testing

Their reflex sight is tits buts its 300 fucking dollars
>>
>>65172790
Based. Holosun has a guy called Josh whose job is literally just to rep them on the internet all day. Companies like that usually have shit to hide.
>>65179180
I have a 1998 Bushnell Holosight on a VRPA-40 turkshit shotgun and it's survived over 1,800 at this point. 1600fps 1oz slugs and 12 pellet 00 buck.

My only beef with Holosun is that their thermal red dot uses a trash 256x192 sensor and totally legit reddit accounts were hyping that shit like it was an x-ray scope from COD.
