Your job selection will be limited as a non-citizen due to security clearance requirements.
It could take years to get to this point though.
You have to make a request to immigrate, if accepted then you apply for a green card, if successful you can enter the US and after living here for a few months you'll get your green card.
There is an entire encyclopedia worth of bureaucracy surrounding legal permanent residence and I don't know it all but this is the basic process.
