What is the most kino book of The Old Testament, focusing mainly on literary prowess, plot, message and emotional connection, not entirely on theological importance?>Is it Genesis or Exodus?>Samuel or Kings>One of the prophets?>Job or Psalms?>Or something more underrated?
>>24841706Samuel 1 up to the opening chapters of Kings 1, which narrates the rise and fall of Saul as king, and the rise of David as "a man after God's own heart," but who also is full of faults, and whose family undergoes sufferings as a result. The transition from David to Solomon was basically the inspiration for the ending of the first Godfather, when Michael Corleone "settles all family business", which is totally Solomon. That narrative altogether is the most riveting set of stories in the whole Bible.
>>24841706plot wise, book of samuel 1 & 2 are my favorite, although I think Job is the best written.
