I never have Lord of the Rings themed dreams though, for some odd reason. And out of the three series I'm definitely more a fan of Tolkien by far. I have the Harry Potter dreams way more often than the GoT dreams too. Idfk it's very weird. They're always pretty enjoyable dreams though, I do like them. None of mine really ever have good resolutions either, but it doesn't really matter to me.

In this case, let's consider online discourse on popular media platforms. Packaged in with my fear about censorship itself is that so many are willingly censoring their speech for the sake of not being silenced by 'the algorithm', which, again, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I just think there are 100s of people who will replace 'rape' with 'grape' maybe even in their own thoughts, and I think that's bad and begins to remove the impact of the language itself, as a whole even. For it to all be in the name of appeasing 'the algorithm', not being silenced by it, or both is what makes it so sinister to me. I believe it signifies BOTH obedience and dissent. Obedience because the response to their media of choices silencing those discussions isn't revolt or egress but remaining there, where there's censored speech. I probably most fear that largely these users aren't even thinking this deep into it.
