How come nobody really seems to care about Zoids?I mean the original series was really well received as far as i remember Genesis was okay too

>>22844280I watched the original show from start to finish and was just extremely bored by all of it. The story and characters were just so generic I felt like I could have been watching any other shounen of the era and the 3D animation was incredibly weak. It's like they invested all their time and energy into making sure the 3D models look good (and they do) but forgot to actually try with anything else. All the fight scenes just look really stilted and badI definitely lost all interest in checking out any other part of the franchise because of thatIf Wild Zero ever gets good subs, I might check it out though, seems like they tried to give it a bit of an edge, which is something the first show definitely needed
>>22844280It's mostly because interest in it died down after Fuzors shat the bed and Genesis, despite being significantly better, couldn't save the franchise at the time, and never had an official English release. So it went into hibernation and it didn't get a new show for ages until Wild, which changed things up just enough to make older fans uncomfortable, and then they tried kind of walking things back to more familiar territory with Wild Zero but at that point the damage had been done.
>>22844280Really peaked with Chaotic Century/Guardian Force. I didn't care much for New Century and Fuzors was a dumpster fire. Genesis was an improvement but as >>22849208 said, the series was already bleeding out. Also, for some strange reason, we never got a DVD with both the Dub and Sub on it. But the dub was extremely solid though even with the few scenes being censored. With one that really made Reese's characterization a lot harder to follow.

if you look the modern state of anime , why revive that IP?Zoids is aimed to sell toys, and nothing more.the only thing that i wish is a videogame.
