Starting ToQger. Wasn't super in love with the suit design in the past but seeing how they have to accommodate the color change gimmick (is that color correction or do they actually have a different one for each color of each member?) I definitely immediately like the suits more.I've spoiled myself on the mystery but hopefully it'll still be enjoyable going through. Do the robot scenes include things like the CG extending punch that the first episode had? That was neat.

The "mecha" is the main Kakujuu where you can even put Gavarion's side mechas as interchangeable.

My theory on the decline of Sentai is that Rider overlapped with the concept of "gattai".Before W, combining things was reserved for Sentai only. But since W introduced proper key items that combines with the belt, as well as forms that feel like a combined robot.

>>23900694Anon we know the declining sales of Sentai is because of the toys, the mecha and roleplay toys aren't as good as the competition and people would buy the toys of their favorite ranger but since one ranger doesn't have as many toys as one rider they don't make enough profit. As a show the decline was due to the mixed bag that was Ninninger to Ryusoulger, Kiramager and Zenkaiger did well critically but due to how much Sentai's reputation had been tarnished at that point not enough people watched them, but from Donbrothers up to Gozyuger lots of people went back to watching Sentai again but views doesn't equal toy sales as stated on the first point.

They have to sell the train toy, but they don't even do that well.
