Even though it’s true that she initially started out as what’s known as a “diversity quota fulfiller,” and (arguably) nothing more, you do have to hand it to the writers for really giving us one of the most adorable, lovable, relatable, and all around best written character in the whole franchise in well over a decade. Easily the breakout star of G5, and definitely would’ve gone on to become the Abe Lincoln on the “Pony Mount Rushmore,” as it were. Only problem preventing her from holding that status now was G5’s abrupt cancelation and the lack of recognition among fans and poor viewership, with most fans quitting the show before she was ever even introduced. If they brought her in earlier, I know she would’ve saved the show.And to all of you haters who thought she was just yet another “Mary Sue token diversity appeasement,” well, I think it’s high time you admit you were wrong!
