in 30 years no one will remember a single song made by taylor shit
>>
You mean her producers/songwriters
>>
>>123710484
You know, I feel that way about most pop songs these days. Then again I'm not really into pop.
>>
>>123710484
They will remember the older hits from
The early/mid 10s, because those ones have actually had some staying power and still get regular exposure. But the oversaturated crap from the past five years is already getting memoryholed.
>>
>>123710484
you trying to bait that autistic retard anon who will type paragraphs defending the quality of her songs? I do that once or twice a month
>>
>>123710484
In 1 generation nobody will remember you as well. Your point being?
>>
Life is a cruel joke. Why perpetuate it?
>>
>>123710574
The point is that she will never be as memorable as great artists like Michael Jackson.
>>
>>123710638
What recent pop artist has the kind of staying power that MJ has? Maybe Lady Gaga?
>>
>>123710638
Taylor is not even Britney tier

Who in the fuck is Taylor Shit?
>>
Maybe old Taylor will be celebrated like she's the next Dolly Parton or something. All it takes is a new generation and a few lies.
>>
>>123710723
Lead singer of Gutalax
>>
>>123710526
I doubt they'll be any more remember than "The Wayward Wind" or any other such '50s hits that nobody cares about anymore.
>>
>>123710484
Well, she's been around 18 years, so we'll see in the next 12

Oh neat, the song that "Ramblin' Man" ripped off of.
>>
>>123710484
you belong with me
>>
>>123710809
>>123711227
Not the Jo Stafford song, which while campy is still better than anything Taylor Shit has made.
>>
>>123710484
In 3 years no one will remember

Que? And it's You Belong To Me, not With Me.
>>
>>123711362
>>123711173
not bad songs but you have to understand a lot of the cultural context of the '50s to "get" them i suppose
>>
>>123710484
>in 30 years
nobody can name a song by her already
>>
>>123710484
She thinks her bland tonedeaf political statement will influence the election in any way lmao

>>
>>123711880
never heard of them
>>
>>123712215
i envy you because blank space and shake it off fucking suck

imagine a karen unironically saying "haters gonna hate" and chanting it like a cheerleader at a pep rally and you get shake it off
>>
>>123710484
You're 30 years old and no one remembers you today because you're pathetic. Taylor Swift will go down in history like Michael Jackson. Except she didn't need the dancing gimmick to get famous.

That doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, but realistically nearly all of my favorite music will be forgotten much sooner than that. It doesn't detract from the amazing artistry or truly timeless quality of their work.
>>
>>123710484
It's because she's really just been reskinning the same song over and over again for the past 18 years. All of her songs run together.
>>
>>123712265
Lmao
>>
>>123712284
in the early pop country days it seems her songs weren't as one note but by Red she/her producers had very clearly hit on a schtick they ran into the ground
>>
>>123712265
Taylor has nothing but gimmicks. New boyfriends every five minutes, gaming the streaming numbers, putting out 50 versions of the same albums, you name it.
I'm no MJ fan either, but at least he was capable of putting out some legitimate era-defining hits before he lost his marbles. And they weren't all about the same repetitive subject.
>>
>>123712313
yeah, mj was a freak but thriller was a pop classic. those basslines were crispy as fuck and quincy jones did a damn good job on that record. taylor is just so bland and one note in comparison
>>
>>123710484
You mad, Donnie?
>>
>>123712333
also her singing is very very grating
>>
>>123712352

I JUST SHAT ON THE FLOOR AND ATE IT WHILE DOING TWENTY PUSHUPS

HOW DYA LIKE THEM APPLES?

Why can't you just dislike music like a normal person? You don't have to be an obsessed seether and force yourself into making insane claims
>>
>>123710484
hopefully
>>
>>123710526
On the contrary. Cardigan and Willow still get played, in fact Evermore/Folklore as a whole are her most lauded albums in years while nobody talks about Rep anymore, to the point where I doubt she’s even going to make a Taylor’s Version for it.
>>
>>123712812
The world is much too political for that now
>>
>>123710526
I see plenty of millennial and zoomer women wearing friendship bracelets in honor of YOYOK and that song came out two years ago.
>>
>>123712936
>friendship bracelets
You're a high schooler at best and most likely underage.
>>
>>123712990

Adults don't wear fucking friendship bracelets lmao, you actually ousted yourself as underage. Legitimately haven't seen that shit since middle school, couldn't even imagine someone that was 16 wearing one.
>>
>>123710484
>Implying all white girls would spontaneously disappear
>>
>>123712936
Yeahhhhhhhhh I'm with the other guys here, I can't imagine a woman in her 30s let alone 20s wearing a friendship bracelet. I could believe that you see plenty of women wearing bracelets about it, but they're probably not Zoomers and sure as fuck not Millennials.

She sold out her yeehaw fanbase to be an actress so it’s not surprising.
>>

nobody was even interested for very long in her AI porn, not even long enough for her to sue anybody for it.
is she already walled?

reminder there's only one (1) Beatles song in the 200 most streamed songs from 20+ years ago (Queen have 10)
>>
>>123710675
Gaga, Beyonce, and potentially Ariana will definitely be remembered as generational talents. (Ariana depending on what her next project is.)
>>
>>123713704

(Didn’t mean to quote, sorry)
>>
>>123710675
Gaga was the last legit pop act. Pop is currently in purgatory. No one's ever going to be MJ

I want Fun. back :(
