Its Timo at his best, mostly because its where his fundamentals aren't on display due to a more abstract image, which in regards to Synarchy I am a bit bothered by the obvious failures in perspective and form. Timo is like Varg, both have huge natural talent and great eyes, but both have literally zero fundamentals in their art. A statement of our culture is losing people like this to the sides of society, while we train and educate people with no capacity for the greater beauty. Anyways, In terms of old classics, I always did like Ultima Thule, shame the guy only did the one cover and then completely disappeared.

I listened to one of the newer DTL albums and I was surprised with how melodic the albums was. Form the older material I remembered it bieng more raw. I this his direction now? I have mixed feelings about it. Some of the new sound changes I liked and some of them I didn't. Its definently a good album though. Ill listen to more of his newer stuff.
