There were a formative band for me growing up, and were very formative for a lot of people from my generation.That being said Smith is a complete pompous faggot. People rag on Morrissey, but Robert to me is just...boring he doesn't have a lot to say. Every interview I've seen of him reminds me of people I used to play in bands with in high school. Not a lot there.The Cure had three great records, and basically spent the rest of the 80s putting out Styro after Styro until that Disintegration (most overratted boring album of all time, but I do like some songs) than spent the 90s putting out more styro that no one cares about besides that one shit song. Literally nothing is too low for this old fuck.Also I'm not a Smiths/Morrissey fan at all, I think they have one good record (and it's the blue one with the shirtless dudes back) but jesus, this shit is pathetic.
