I tried lucid dreaming in high school and all it did was cause nightmares and sleep paralysis I still suffer from, about 7 years later.
I managed to record most of a song I heard in a dream just last week. It's ok

i have dreamt about melody yes like a full arrangement and it was beautiful and when i wake up i have to hum the main melody to myself to transcribe it quick or i forget it
