Spring has started in the warmer climates and the worst snow is behind us. Did anybody pick up any cool clothes to wear on the bike? A new jersey is 15 bucks on Ali. High fashion stuff like Syn and Pas normal have hipster cred. Vintage 80s throwbacks are in. Everyone has figured out taint pads rule even if sewn into 'tactical' mtb shorts. It's never been cheaper to look good. What is your bike style and what are you doing in 2025 to make the scene?
>>2033024I just ride in my black bibs and black top. Sometimes i ride in my white top on the hot days. Why should i try to look 'good' on the road? Nobody is going to see me either way and if they do, why should they care how i look?Fashion is only for raging homos. I go out to ride and not to be seen on the red carpet of some gay fashion show.
pas normal is basically the new rapha though, obnoxious upper middle class "bio hackers" between 35 and 45 who used to be loud about The Blockchain until they found out how it gives women the ick so now they make the same annoying coked up speech about Effective Altruism that they used to make about The Blockchain. they just haven't figured out that it's not effay unless you're in their extremely specific subculture
>>2033027I just think it's funny and wry to have a giant SYN on your jersey where Freds are taking synthetic Testosterone supplement.Plus pas normal cycling say PNS and who wants to cycle aaround town as a matte grey penis

been rocking some Miku jerseys I got on alithey're alright
>>2033024>A new jersey is 15 bucks on AliOnly for manlets.I'm 6'5" and chink jerseys are always too short.I'm wearing Tørm and Protective for new jerseys, they are cut longer for western physique people.Mostly I wear 2nd hand stuff from the 90's which fits me a lot better
>>2033116>Only for manlets.>I'm 6'5" and chink jerseys are always too short.Eh I'm 6'4 and Chinese 6xl or 5xl will be long enough. They are shorter than normal jerseys. It's hit or miss. For 15 bucks I take flyers then just donate the ones that don't fit.
>>2033116Do you like the merino stuff? I just use fleece lined jerseys. How do you clean a merino wool jersey or is it like the mitch hedberg joke, "dry clean only so it means....this shirt is dirty".I'll take a flyer on merino next fall I've heard a number of my friends like it. For now I'm buying for spring and summer. 70 degrees to 105 degrees f. So as usual black is out.
>>2033026>Why should i try to look 'good' on the road?Look good. Feel good. Rides' good. Is good. Same reason I shower and shave before riding for fun.Plus if you're whiteout or blackout you are making a fashion statement of utility and simplicity and a mild disregard for visibility with blackout
>>2033109I don't know what that is and I'm scared to Google it. I know there's Yowamushi Pedal jerseys around. Never seen one in the wild
>>2033135I've been riding with the cheapest 155gr/m2 merino shirt from decathlon 5 years now, it's great and was like 15 euros, so a week later got 2 more. using them all year, rinsing with water every now and then and washing in washing machine every few months. they also have merino jerseys but their front is too short for normal shorts, gotta use bibshorts
>>2033150Very cool and noted for my fall wishlist. Good tip about the merino jerseys being too short to run with shorts
