Ok so this one's pretty great.
Cohen testified that CNBC pays a tech firm named Red Finch for polling. That tech firm accepts money to alter the results on their polls. Trump was polling poorly in a CNBC popularity poll conducted by Red Finch, and so in return for cash, Red Finch offered to "create an algorithm" and give trump a significant boost in the popularity poll. The end result of the poll is Trump was stated to be the 9th most popular businessman of the century. After seeing the results of this poll, CNBC no longer wanted to publish it, and thus, trump no longer wanted to pay for the agreement. Cohen then got salty and stole cash from trump and paid himself a bonus as well as his friend at Red Finch

Michael Cohen admits to stealing from Trump Organization

On redirect examination, Michael Cohen provided some background on the $30,000 he said he stole from the Trump Organization by overcharging them for work he did with Red Finch.

"Red Finch is a technology company that I had asked to assist in a CNBC poll, and the poll was regarding the most famous businessmen in, like, the last century," Cohen said, speaking to the jury. "Mr. Trump's name was on that list and at the beginning of this poll he was polling toward the very bottom. It upset him, so he had me come to his office and he provided me with a sheet of paper

"I reached out to Red Finch who told me he was able to create an algorithm to ensure that Mr. Trump would rise and rise significantly in this poll. We talked about what number Mr. Trump wanted to finish," Cohen said.

Eventually Trump came in No. 9 but he declined to pay Red Finch because CNBC didn't bother following through with the poll, Cohen said. Cohen ended up paying them -- in a brown paper bag in cash, he said.

"You felt some pressure to make some payment to your friend? Hoffinger asked.

"Yes," Cohen responded.

Asked why he did it, Cohen said, "Well for a long time I had been telling him about the $50,000. ... I was angered because of the reduction in the bonus, and so I just felt it was almost like self help."

Huh, you know what's weird, after I posted this the article significantly changed.
I visit it now and the entire section I pasted above is now gone, and it's replaced it with a section named "top headlines" which currently has at the top a similar named story of "Cohen tells why he took an additional $30K in reimbursement"

The only section of original text which is still there was the first two intro paragraphs I didn't paste into the op because they are just background text that everyone already knows
>Former President Donald Trump is on trial in New York City, where he is facing felony charges related to a 2016 hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. It marks the first time in history that a former U.S. president has been tried on criminal charges.
>Trump last April pleaded not guilty to a 34-count indictment charging him with falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his then-attorney Michael Cohen made to Daniels in order to boost his electoral prospects in the 2016 presidential election.

I'm genuinely curious if it's showing me different text because I already visited it, or if they decided to trash the original article and replace it with a new one

its still there when you click "load more" at the bottom. the link you gave is a general "trump trial updates" thing, so new shit is continually added at the top and pushes the older ones down

I just love that Trump demanded that Bob Costello is a witness and he's fucking blown the case for Trump by pissing off the Judge
>>
ITT we jerk off to our daily Trump porn.

It isn't our fault the man generates so much news.

>Judge is pissed off
The jury decides and they might interpret the theatrics differently. I suspect that it probably doesn't matter much.

Procedurally, a witness acting rude in court is supposed to have zero effect on the outcome. This could be grounds for an appeal or mistrial if the event was distracting enough.

>This could be grounds for an appeal or mistrial if the event was distracting enough

No he isn't. He's a fucking shill appointed by Bloomberg.
Why would you even try to make this claim?
>During the 2020 United States presidential election, Merchan donated $15 to Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden's campaign, $10 to the Progressive Turnout Project, and $10 to Stop Republicans, a subsidiary of the previous.
He's the biggest banana in the banana republic.

Democrats and billionaires go together like peanut butter and jelly.
When the commie Demofags say they want to "Eat the rich", they mean "Eat the semen of the rich".

>donations totalling 35 dollars
dude you have to be 18 for 90% of this site, ask for more allowance if you think 35 dollars is a significant amount.
>>
>>1297014
You know Bloomberg ran as a Republican, right?
>>
>>1297023
You know, more recently, he ran as a Democrat, right?
More evidence that Democrats are 90s Republicans? When's the next Iraq war?

>More evidence that Democrats are 90s Republicans?
No there was never any evidence to begin with. That's a Trump cultist loyalty test and nothing more.
>>
>>1297039
If hating Democrats who are now 90s Republicans is bad, then I'll admit I'm bad.
I'm glad you guys have all the Bush Republicans in your corner.
