I can navigate without a gps, albeit I do have google maps on for navigating to someones house for example when going to buy something from a private seller, but the drive through the country I can do without.A couple of years ago I drove my parents across Europe on a roadtrip that they sid when I was about 10 or so, so 20 years ago, still remembered the route to our destination which was a godsend because my data plan shat the bed and got capped.Also seeing pictures in my mind is how I usually try to fix shit, I visualise how the parts are supposed to work and interface with each other for example.Was really handy when my mate gave me the transmission of his kawasaki eliminator that was completely disassembled into bits.
