They seem like they are pretty reputed, they even encourage third party mechanic checking the bike before buying it, the thing is it's in a different city, I can't take my mechanic with me. In the past, while buying the used bike, I do the basic checks myself, then I ask the owner to bring the bike to dealership, the mechanic there checked it and he gave a go. If I had to pick a dual-sport 450, I'd pick a crf450L, vortex ECU and decat exhaust, and then follow oil changes/valve checks RELIGIOUSLY, and it would live a very long time. I believe only Honda divorces the gearbox and engine oil in their 450 motor and that gets a lot of points for reliability.
