The latch on them isn't ECE certified and I don't think an impact test would ever show that they're capable of withstanding the same hit the rest of the helmet is capable of, but overall you get more protection than a half helmet

>Most people buying BMWs probably aren't hanging out on 4chan lmao
The same could be said about Honders. But, we have quite a few BMW riders on 4chins. We have few GS riders, S1K rider, one guy with F800ST. Then some other sport tourer. We have more GS riders than AT riders I think.

They're meant to open when you want them to open, but not open when you don't?
So, best case scenario, they stay shut and protect you.
Worst case scenario, you are wearing an open face helmet at the exact wrong time.

At first i was a rin guy
Then i became a honda owner
Then i was the hane guy
And we had a 4 bike trading streak
But then i went to superleaderbike school, where i met ryan gosling, he said; "the way of the shoomer is simply not just a crf450rl-"
To which i stood there bewildered, "it isnt?"
>"NO"
I heard in greentext adjacent yonder, a japanese schoolgi- milf greentexted me
>"travel thence to calgary, find the appointed 'ku, buy it with grypto gains, and retrvn to superleaderbike school and i will show thee shooms you never even dreamed of"
"Ok raimu-sempai"

And thus, through the power of greentext, i went yonder to calgary to purchase both the zx14r from the boomer with too many toys 2.0 gyrpto boogaloo edition, and to view its future exhaust 4 to 1 platform from the local polish immigrant
Needless to say i walked away with a bike and told exhaust pole to mail it to my nearest non existant address, but that a friend would recieve it in mine absence

Then, work called, and i instead went to my last hitch of the cursed summer of kelowna 2.0: the stranded for parts in a hostel opera
See, i never returvned to superleaderbikeschool where raimu was waiting
Waiting, endlessly waiting for me to come back ans learn from her twist of the wrist
No, instead i struggled to maintain my composure, snapped in a workcamp, put a hole through the drywall, and b& myself from ever working in that gulag ever again
Then none of the bakuons ever were my gf any longer

Hence: >>28727810

You can't ring-ding-ding the ZX6R past 8k rpm every time.
And more certainly you won't like to do it at all.
Firstly because of its speed, 1st gear tops at like 96km/h, way above the speed limit and the gas isn't cheap.
The R7 is cheaper to own, cheaper to fix and maintain, better on gas and more fun.
On the other hand having a real supersport also feels great. You know it's not very practical or fun, but this is the real thing. If you want to keep it more simple just get a Honda CB500. But then againt, the R7 seems like a good balance point in between those two.

Thing is the real estate for side panels is rather shit, rhw only real place for a full picture to be airbrushed on is the tank, front, and seat cowl
But
If i were to spraypaint the aplintered plastic side panels, i only have black, white, and red spraypaint
Also i have a lil crack on the left side one i need to shimmy up

Dont get me wrong, jf i had a proper place to do it all amd prep it properly and some airbrush/automotive paints, id go all out and design something

I thought it was amazing on track but all I can compare it against was my ‘04 r6.
I got rid of it last spring right before the bearing #5 thing. My track had closed and I found I didn’t want to drive the 4+ hours to go to other tracks.
It was very wide compared to the r6 but mostly it was fairing and other decorative parts
The design was very Christian bale batman
I didn’t like the way it steered or felt at low speed. Was not fun to ride through town in the same way my r6 was fun.
On track, though, amazing.

So I was interested in a comfy and totally basic sleeping-pod/sidecar with the same shape and size of a coffin. Just enough to spend the night. As for heating and fresh oxygen, I'd prefer if they were included but I can add those modifications myself if not.
Any (street legal) recommendation?

Honda isn't a king of motorcycles, they only sell more bikes than the others because they sell 'em to jeets and chinese and they're the majority of this planet. It's not impressive at all.
Japanese people love Kawasaki more because they know their shit better. Americans love Yamaha more because they can afford it. Only thirdies praise Honda.

nice klx how are those kendas? lotta balancing weights on there, are they pretty heavy? I ran a big mitas and it was awesome offroad but way too heavy for these weak assbikes, back on the stock d605 and they are pretty good as long as it isn’t real muddy

You can just get a pull-along trailer. Add a hitch to your bike.
They're called pull-behind campers and they make them so small that a KLR can pull one.

It is/was my first bike.
ABS was awesome and kept me from ever putting it down while in motion.
Shaftie+touring bike throttle response kept the 90hp easy to control.
Way to heavy though and I feel guilty dropping it. Also was not a fan of the sitting in rather than sitting on feeling.

Germans love Honda more than everything else by a large margin. We see their bikes as reliable, affordable, somewhat similar to Volkswagen cars and over decent choice. Yamaha is great with musical instruments and R1 only. Suzuki is second best after Honder, Kawasaki last obviously.

>buddy of mine helped me with my brakes a while back, dummy put one of the brakepads in backwards and it gouged my rotor lol
Was trying to replace the rotors this past weekend and ended up rounding off 3 of the bolts. I tried my best by hammering the bit into position and applying pressure the whole time but the boltheads were so old it felt like working with clay
Been out in my parking stall with my gf the past 3 days going at it with a dremel/torch trying to get those last 3 off and only finally found success today thanks to her

That sounds like a nightmare, but W on the gf end. Glad you got the bolts out.

Alright bros, got my fix of shoomies for a while yet
Didnt want to risk anything with law enforcement ao i only went 240-260km/h on a pull out of town highway- to see if my chain tightening was a sound job because i broked the coiter pin for the axle lugnut and replace it with a size smaller one; wqsnt sure if id died because of this, so basically im fine thanks for noticing

Also met up with mechanic bro, went over the kawi relay shit, told him about my asploded crf and my asploded seat deadbolt for the kawi
Then the neighbour of the industrial lot came over and he has a zx14r too, was looking at amazon fairings for his, cool dood bros
And rhen i boughted rhe chain lube and got a free coiter pon from my mechanic, he also printed my valve clearqnce aheet for recording purposes, it even has 3 extra pistons and valves in case i somehow fuck up writing it down, based; mogging inline 4s with my singleton crf
Also he gave sone pointers for all the things that could go wrong during shimmy time and also what could go wrong if this bench warrant is for reelz with the bike occupied status
Basically id be kill because of fines exceesing like 10,000 maple syrup tokens

What thw fuck bros, the jannies can really do that AND take your bike away
Its almost like
Bike werent meant for the streets, only trackdays
Chisame was right, maybe i need a scooter or never again superleadwrbike sxhool, and just stay as a proud owner od a smol cc club enjoyer

Fuck bros, im glad the shoomies are over and i got my fix, i guess ill cope with copious amounts of drugs and procrastinate the lawyer timeline for another monday n+1 where n is the number of weeks i do this repeatedly and delay deny and depose my weakness for societal jannoids and the bad luck late nught lonely riders feel club

Jannies just dont get it man, the need for sneed is the only outlet i have rather than explicit actions against all my adversaries

There is more, but i dare not disclose it

how much does year matter (or does it at all) with a bike? i've been looking at WRs and DRZs. i missed out on a mint 2022 drz last week, but this 2012 one is similar condition and miles and mods.
how big of a deal is that? does it make any difference? i know the bikes haven't changed really, but i mean it in terms of degradation of components. seals wearing out or whatever. should i put much of a premium on a newer bike or should it be pretty far down the line in terms of concerns?
>>
>>28729334
2012 drz is carbed and 2022 drz is EFI, so, yes, that's a bit different
>>
>>28729340

the new 2025 model is but i'm pretty sure there's no actual differences in how they made them in 2012 and 2022.

I'd tell you to watch Super Cub or Shuumatsu Touring, but they'd probably bore you as well. >>28729256 is a good option. You might like GTO as well.

To be fair, I think Freiren After the Funeral requires certain life experiences to appreciate, at least before the Shonen power wank hierarchy starts. The episode with Himmel's flowers is the zenith for the writing, for example. If yearning and loss won't do it for you, I don't think there will be enough to get you to all the fighting in the Serie and Macht arcs.

Remember when you fags said a new Tracer was ugly?
Lmao these round headlights, you just know Honda tried to copy Yamaha here
>>

He doesn't know, lmao.

Thinking about buying the base Africa Twin with the DCT and accessory foot shifter. I love controlling the gearbox with my foot but don't want to deal with the clutch in stop and go. Would buy the NT1100 but it doesn't have that accessory available.
>>
>>28729719
They are both ugly. What your point?
>>
>>28729705
Damn this thing looks good.
Bros, what's the best option here?
>CB1000GT
>Versys 1100
>GSX-S1000GX
>Tracer 9 GT
>Some kind of wildcard like a V-Strom 1050 or NT1100

One is made in Japan and another one in Troonland
You can tell which one is which just by looking at them. That's my point.
>>
>>28728948
Nah he thinks he's into fashion, but still goes around in skinny jeans and Alexander McQueen trainers like it's 2015 LMAO
>>
>>28729741
I think the gsx or the tracer are the choice from that bunch. Tracer has boring colors though. The k5 is still the best jap 4cyl outside of the cp4.
>>
>>28729754
They stick on the decals in japan. The parts are made in china and its mostly assembled in china.

I feel like the engine will probably be phenomenal on all of them. I'm leaning towards the Honda, it seems like it will be tamer and more manageable in the low RPMs, while the Suzuki is sharper and sportier.
>>
>>28729769
>nooooooo it is cheap and looks like shit for no reason just because Honda loves us

sweet summer child

I've bought a 1992 Transalp for $1500, in okay condition. Engine has been rebuilt 2 years ago, frame is straight, it even has some brakes left. Carbs are working perfectly, it started cold no problem and then kept idle in -1deg C without choke. How did I do?
>>
>>28729777
You did bad. Old hondas are probably the single most unreliable bike to get after ural.

Australian or Canadian? Either way, considering you guys always seem to pay more for stuff (also, adjusting for you monopoly money), even in private sales, I'd say you did fine. Have fun and get the basics (tires, oil, brakes, etc.) finished up.

is CBF600 the perfect bike?

You could apply that title to any 15-20 semi-faired Japanese middleweight that you can buy for pennies and ride every day without issue. See also Bandit 600, Fazer, etc etc.

Onsa is getting a T7, Hane is getting a Viffer, Rin is getting a Katana 1000, Hijiri is getting the latest and hottest Panigale, Raimu is getting a ZX10RR, Chisame is getting a Burgman 650 or a GSXR1000.

Do consider full ADV like AT or a GS.

How is it a no, if it's the best tourer in the market after BMW RTs and Goldwing?
>>
>>28729857
Nigga you can walk into a gun store and walk out with a full power hunting rifle, buy some AP rounds over the internet and no one bats an eye.
I need a hunting license to get a side by side 12 gauge. They removed the only guns that could be easily bought (BP muzzle loaders)
black market shit costs a lot more as a result
>>
>>28729861
Might be good, but why would I get this over AT?
