In a lot of ways it's actually better than a "premium" Model Y. The only crap they got rid of was useless junk anyway. It looks better, the covered up moonroof will keep it cooler in the summer, and even though range is down it's not a huge amount.

I feel like people would be willing to sacrifice a lot of features if a cheap EV just had amazing charging speed, a lot of range, and loads of power. Keep all the essentials of a good EV and keep the rest basic and simple.
