The paper will likely get trapped in the fuel system, causing fuel starvation or damage to the fuel pump. If paper gets into a fuel tank, the vehicle's fuel should be drained and cleaned, the fuel filter should be replaced, and the fuel pump should be inspected.

Potential consequences of paper in a fuel tank:
Clogged fuel filter: Paper towels can clog the fuel filter screen and injectors, restricting fuel flow.
Fuel starvation: A clogged filter can lead to fuel starvation, causing the engine to stall or not run properly.
Damage to the fuel pump: Debris from the paper towel can potentially damage the fuel pump.
Engine shutdown: In severe cases, the engine may stop running completely.

What to do if paper gets into a fuel tank:
Do not run the engine: Avoid starting the engine or running it for more than a moment, as this will suck the paper further into the fuel system.
Remove the paper: If you can see the paper, try to carefully remove as much of it as possible with a tool.
Drain the fuel tank: Drain all the gasoline from the tank.
Clean the fuel tank: Clean the fuel tank thoroughly.
Replace the fuel filter: Replace the fuel filter.
Inspect the fuel pump: Check the fuel pump for any debris or damage.

I've solved a great mystery, guys! Everything makes sense now, hear me out.
Look, in the late 70s Yamaha announced RZ250 and RD350. Because back then 2-strokes were a dying breed and it was Yamaha's last chance to make a bike like this.

Back in 2023 Yamaha registered RZ250 and RZ350 trademarks.

A ZX25R was made in 2020 and heavily updated in 2023.
Back in 2020 there was a rumor about Yamaha's 250cc Inline4 being in the development.
In February 23 a ZX4R was presented.

See where I'm going with this? 4 cylinder smol cc bikes is a dying breed today. Yamaha registered the same trademark for dying breeds, with the same displacement.
If it were just another single or a p-twin Yamaha could use any other name and the bikes would be ready by now.

I'm 100% sure Yamaha is cooking a legendary screamer and it will be revealed very soon, you guys see this information first.

Chain through rear wheel wrapped around something buried into the ground. Chain and the lock's bolt should be 16mm+. Thieves won't bother. They usually hotwire and ride the bike away or carry it to a truck/van.

I'm about to buy my first motorcycle today!
I've been riding on my buddies Rebel 500 and I really enjoyed the cruiser style. Ended up choosing the Vulcan 650 S because I fit better on it than the Rebel or Shadow.
Any advice on purchasing one? I've bought cars before so I imagine the financing process is somewhat similar. Kind of being cautious about the dealer fees because I know a few of them can be pretty ridiculous.

basically any major population centre with above 5% blacks or muslims, except someone to be watching for the second you step off your bike so they can steal it, chop it up and have it sent off to romania before the end of the business week

but the whole of france is a fucking shithole if youre planning to do any sort of touring or camping

The BOLT-R is kind of cool. For what ever reason though, there's a piece of the engine (don't remember what piece specifically) that sticks out on the right side and makes contact with my leg. My right leg ended up sticking out further out than my left which was kind of uncomfortable.

I'll be going down to san jose for christmas and I would really like to rent a bike but idk how it works. My ex rented bikes all the time but she is a much better rider so I have no idea how renting works in the case that i wreck.
I want to go to San Francisco because I used to live there. I ride like a madman in AK but I have not once even driven a car in the lower 48. Am I stupid for wanting to ride a bike in CA traffic?

I rent regularly and your rental bike will be insured by the rental company and if you crash you pay the excess. In my case it's usually $2000 but I'm only renting scooters. Might be more for big-engine toy bikes.

I'm asking an honest question about renting a bike and only one anon has been honest about it
I will be travelling to San Jose for as long as I want for Christmas, I want to go to San Francisco because I used to live there. I'm curious about the liability and traffic on the way there and back. I'm not sure it is worth it, so I may rent a car instead. I have unlimited time off in winter so I am curious if renting a bike is a bad idea.

Bonus question, should I pack my riding gear or ride naked (minus my own helmet).

Half of my family and a large part of my childhood was spent in the bay area. I have never been back there since and it's going to be either a car or bike.

Speed limit on local road is 25 mph, average actual traffic speed 15 mph. Highway is 40-55 mph actual traffic speed 30 mph during peak.

Rebel has Chinese-tier pricetag but it's a Honda. It's the cheapest new cruiser you can buy that you don't have to worry about and on the second glance it's rather unique-looking(has a kinda "hump").

I kinda like W230 but both it and the 350 Honda GB or RE's are in a weird place.
I can ride 125cc without getting a license because I am of the correct nationality. However this is more than 125cc so I gotta get a license and for all this trouble I get a bike that is only slightly faster, but not faster enough for me to not fear taking them on a highway. I know not every bike is meant to do literally everything but had they had like 25 HP and 6 speed gearbox(only W230 has one) they'd have just enough of an edge to be viable there.

Kinda.

Honestly DRZs are pretty great, it's worth considering but there are other good highway stint capable dual sports. I'd figure out what you can reasonably pay for, then work backwards and just make sure it's been reasonably well maintained.

But at least you (most likely) have compulsory tipping. We get NO tips in Australia.
Customers will be grateful at the door and thank me for being so fast but they neglect to tip because Australia has no tipping culture whatsoever.

>>
>>28738845
No, get a cheaper bike. 10k is way too much.

The Z900rs is just ugly to me. Same with the Vulcan S. Kawasaki is just not good at the retro look IMO. I love their sportbikes though.
>>
>>28738910
A bit comfier because I am a little too tall for it. And it lets me keep my feet just a bit more forward for better balance. I never could stand the feet planted on the floor board feel.
>>
>>28738914
Yeah i just won't get a dual sport now theyre all overpriced for what you get, spend 10k to get a bike that goes 90mph max and isnt even particularly great off-road either due to the weight. Im just going to get a ninja 400, plenty fast for me and a dealer is selling one for 5k i have no mone due to NEETdom so I'll have to finance it though

Nightster 975 or Guzzi V7 special?
I want something to customize but the guzzi is pretty much there. It should have dual analog not a stupid smart (dumb) screen.
Happy Thanksgiving bros and ride home safely.

no, there is no tipping culture here and it's a poor country. Tips depend on the area but I'm on one of the richest areas and I only get tips on less than 5% of trips
I also don't have that "antecipated by" thing

There are only three countries in the entire world:
The United States
An Orwellian dystopia with free healthcare

Lads I picked up a gs550 and it's been great up until the weather has been getting cold recently. I'm having trouble with the carbs icing, it will run for a while but then start missing and eventually die if I keep riding. Gotta wait for the ice to thaw and then I can keep riding fine. I've heard there's some fuel additives to help prevent carb icing but all the ones I can find are for aircraft. Any anons have some tips?
>>
>>28739110
Fiddle with your fuel tap, some bikes run on "reserve" and are on reserve on "on" and seem like they ice. My FJ does this.
Nice bike btw

I'll try that but I dunno if that's gonna help, it's not my fuel lines freezing it's the throat of the carburator icing over. I'll also try adding some heet or whatever other fuel additive to see if that has any effect.

And, IDK how much I'm paying in customs, its either 40% in worst case or nothing. I'm prepared for 40% but it just hurts knowing I should've bought an enduro boot instead. I'll probably stick to riding on pavement for a while.
