>ruins it with liquid cooling
why don't consoomers appreciate the simple things in life?
>>
Air cooled engines are noisy, normies don't want that.
>>
>>28737391
Normies are too dumb to compensate the shortcomings of air-cooled motors.

They genuinely cannot fathom the idea of lane splitting to stay cool, or taking a 5 minute break in the event of extreme heat. Love air-cooled stuff but it sucks if you're in the desert and trapped in traffic
>>
EFI won, LED lighting won, transistorized ignition won, watercooling won, hydraulic disc brakes won, ABS won, inverted forks won.

Yeah I rode a vt750 just like that one. I really liked it. It's just chill and so easy to ride. Unlike a Harley it doesn't demand to be the centre of attention. They're cheap too. I could live with one for sure.

Obsessing over engine temp is such an American thing to bitch about. Just ride

>Obsessing over engine temp is such an American thing to bitch about. Just ride
No, it's actually the opposite of an "American thing to bitch about." It took till just one year ago, 2024, for Harley-Davidson to finally put liquid cooling on their big v-twins, and it's still only for the Touring models. When Indian relauched under Polaris in 2013, it didn't have a big liquid cooled engine till 2020. American motorcycle buyers have traditionally not cared about how cooked their thighs get and chosen perceived simplicity.

>Obsessing over engine temp is such an American thing to bitch about
it was a universal thing, that's why temp gauges no longer move instantly to reflect actual, fluctuating temps in regular driving. the constantly moving needle scared normies

Apparently air cooled is too loud.
This is a thing in Joe Lawmaker's life.
>>
>>28737671
What a hilariously ignorant individual you are, it has to be bait because it's pure irony
>>
>>28737391
Hondas need to 'just work'. Start right up, every time. Never fail you. You can ride some burgerbike or jeetslop if you want. But I'm sticking with Honda.
>>
>>28737945
Wish my Honda 'just worked'. It's blown 5 regulators in the last year, although everything else is pretty solid.
My air cooled Enfield 'just works', in fairness it's 13 years newer. (And I had to re-adjust the valves way before schedule) I don't understand the bitching about air-cooling. Seems fine. Not particularly noisy (why would it be noisy)? Doesn't cook my legs.
The fuel gauge is MEGASHITTIUM though. Fuck EFI, if it still had a carbie like my Honda then it would have a reserve tank instead.

They had liquid cooled Milwaukee 8 since like 2018.
>>
>>28738091
You're right, It was just on the higher trim models and I forgot. Liquid cooling became standard on all touring models (minus the Road King) in 2024. Can't believe I forgot about those tumor lower radiators the Dual-Cool engines had. Either way, 2017 or 2024 that's still decades behind all the other (non-American) manufacturers and the point still stands even if I was off by some change. If anything, it proves the point further because the average buyer didn't care or want liquid cooling on their bike to the point it took 7 more years and it wasn't added because the liquid cooled bikes were selling better, but rather the tech was developed and it just made sense to update them for the motor company.

You can shove that air cooled lump where the sun don't shine.
>>
>>28737751
The vrod was liquid cooled
>>
>>28737391
Being liquid cooled makes it a car with two missing wheels.
>>
>>28738533
It was also the best bike they made by a country mile.

>best bike
>liquid cooled
uh no
>>
>>28738588
>but my shitbike just HAS to make no more than 50hp
You're a destitute jeet coping about your 40 year old bajaj
>>
>>28738594
Why woukd you need more than 50hp?
>>
>>28738620
I'm a first worlder whose needs are met, I can get what I want. You would never understand.

is that supposed to be a cruiser?
>>
>>28741124
it is comfortable for croooozing, yeah
>>
>makes a flawless, indestructible platform
>discontinues it
why is Harley retarded
>>
>>28738568
You've obviously never ridden a VROD. Handles like shit even though it's pretty lightweight (for a Harley). Antiquated power as now it's slower than a modern oil-cooled softail from Harley, and it's uncomfortable.
>>28741134
Euro emission standards.
>>
>>28741438
You've literally just described every Harley ever.

How the fuck does BMW makes 1200cc air-cooled twins that meet the strictest euro emissions standards, while Harley can't??? Oil-cooling?
>>
>>28741508
Boxer just works better for air cooling
