>>28739329Toyota jjst doesn't have a clue what looks good. They try to blend basic looks with over the top ridiculous Transformer looks. Ends up looking like a trannymobile. Everything would look better if it were just basic and utilitarian, that's why trucks sell so well among men. Car companies are in a race to outdo themselves in ridiculous designs it seems, someone is getting paid just to make things look different just so they can say they're new. It's the same slop but just looks gayer and gayer every 5 years.
>>28740534Always did that. The late 50s was another atrocious period when designers got carried away and spawned a major backlash so that 60s cars generally looked far more minimalist. Trucks however weren't a viable alternative yet, they were still crude bare bones work vehicles.
