>EVs dont have spare wheels in them>If you lose a tire on the road you have to wait 8 hours like a cuck for the auto help to showHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHQHQHAHAHAHAHA
>>28956563If you haven't taken your spare out for weight savings you don't belong on this board.
>>28956563Lots of cars in general these days are omitting a spare in favor of a “tire mobility kit” since the weight savings give an extra 0.1 mpg or whatever. I have to say though, tires are such high quality these days the odds of getting a flat that rapidly deflates your tire and gets you stuck seems extremely low. I haven’t had a flat since I was 16 and that was when I drove over a screw that slowly deflated the tire overnight.
>>28956568if you don't have a full size spare you're brown
>>28956568>weight savingsWhat kind of pussy are you?
>>28956568This. All you need is a tire patch kit in the back if you're a real man.
>>28956568https://archive.4plebs.org/o/thread/28200211>cold summer tires, cold road, slightly damp, powering up a sweeping right-hander at "speed.">Tail just let go and went up and 'round the pole. Hang yourself. Your silence every time this is posted is hilarious.
EV tires are so thick you can just ride home and in what bumfuck place do you live that a tow takes 8 hours lol. And like others have said almost no car comes with a spare these days.
>>28956917>I can’t leave the city in my car or I risk being stuck forever ggLmfao
>>28956574The problem with tires these days is that the sidewalls are very thin. If you hit a pothole in the spring it can cause an immediate blowout
>>28957704i never get blowouts because i hit em in summer, checkmate seasons
>>28956563Most new cars don't have spare tires.I haven't used a spare tire for ages, though I had 2 punctured tires recently - but the air deflated slow enough to drive to a repair shop I had to change a tire many years ago because I drove like a madman over a dirt road in the dark, hit a big stone and damaged my rim.
>>28956568I have done this for every car. I've got 3 or 4 spares from cars long gone lying around. Is it stupid? Yes, but so am I apparently.
>>28958225Are you taking a photo of your BMW in an apartment complex that lacks garages or covered parking?
>>28956563Most new cars just come with a repair kit now. Shit is gay af.
>>28958252>I don't know that's just the parking at my attorney's officeI don't believe you because why would attorney offices and commercial buildings have sliding door balconies? Those are California apartments and I think I just caught you in 2 lies.
>>28956563I want a PHEV but it loses the space for the spare tire, so I'm gonna have to go with a stupid hybrid only. I want the PHEV because it has multifuel capabilities. But losing the tire is stupid. I could get a Rav4 or something that wouldn't look too retarded with a tire on the back like a wannabe Jeep. Or just stuff it in the trunk? There are a lot of compromises you accept when getting an EV, considering a tire can fit in the trunk, just put it there and lose trunk space. Maybe I will get the stupid PHEV.
>>28956574>tires are such high quality these days the odds of getting a flat that rapidly deflates your tire and gets you stuck seems extremely low.The odds of you even getting into a car accident are extremely low. You still put on your seatbelt and passively appreciate the crumple zones, air bags, and other safety mechanisms in your car. You're not going to remove safety features on your car to save a few pounds, are you?bad analogy on my part, but its better to have both safety equipment and a spare tire and not need it, than to need them and not have them.
>>28958276uh huh, I hear shitty apartments and attorney offices often share parking lots. We believe you. Out of curiosity, -ian or -yan?
>>28956568If you haven't put your spare back in for self-reliance then you don't belong in Western civilization.
>>28958281The difference is the risk.If I drive solo through the Sahara, a spare tire is essential because it can decide over life and death. If I'm in civilized areas the most I can lose are a couple of hours of my time, just like with any other fault isn't covered by redundancy.
>>28958291>fuck it I'll call AAAWhat a strange approach to life. You could be on your way again in 20 minutes, but instead you want some random jerkoff to show up whenever he feels like it to change your tire or give you a $300 tow back to your spare tire.
>>28956563If you're rich enough to afford an EV, then you're rich enough to buy a jack, a lug wrench, and a spare wheel and tire for yourself. Don't be such an electrocuck.
>>28958333I guess most normies today wouldn't change a tire themselves - so they need assistance anyway.
>>28958341I guess so, the number of people I've seen sitting at the road with their trunk open, a flat tire, and them looking angry as shit on the cell phone are a lot. I've also seen men standing around watching AAA change their tire. Automakers are "right" in omitting spare tires, if consumers won't change their own tire, why include the extra cost in selling the vehicle with a spare?
>>28956568If your car isn't a perfect out have the box E39 or Sacco era Benz and is on stock suspension, you don't Belonge on this board
