Let's start a new book/magazine thread.
The other one finally died.
Here is the old thread: >>560982

Has anyone ever cracked the secret code for Eco-Origami?
>>
>making a new thread
>using the old image
>>
>>565556
Of course, keeping the old one going.
Makes perfect sense.
Why, you don't like it?

Here's some of the stuff from the old thread.

That would be great indeed, if Shuki Kato had written a book with such a name.
What about you share with us "The Paper Life of Satoshi Kamiya", that shall be highly appreciated by many origami folders around the world.

can any one share the cp of Origami butterfly ns 2.0 by satoshi kamiya ?
>>
>>565649
Why, because you're not getting everything you want?
>>
>>565655
some of you people are so danm childish.
if you think it's bad too share other people's work then just leave
if you have the file someone really wants just share it or leave.
no one has time for your stupid games.
>>
>>565659
You're the childish one if you're one of those assholes who think this board should be shut down because you're not getting what you want.
Just because some people have stuff to share doesn't mean they have to do so. It's their stuff and they can do what they want with it.
Anyone can come in here anytime they want, with or without ever sharing anything at all. It's a free board, so get fucking used to it. It ain't shutting down.
>>
>>565659
You must have plenty of time for stupid games,
otherwise you wouldn't waste your own time coming
in here in the fist place.
>>
>>565660
(not the one saying it should be shut down*) just stop being a stingy cuck and if you're not sharing for some moral reason then this isn't the forum for you.
>>
>>565662
This isn't the forum for you if you think that everyone should give you what you want just because you asked for it. You're an imbecile.
>>
>>565613
Whole magazine? Specific article? Diagram of a specific model?
>>
>>565667
im looking for the Robinson puzzle by Robert Lang diagram please

no one is obligated to give anyone ... then why do some people have to play games with people instead of just not saying anyrhing?
>>
>>565672
>then why do some people have to play games with people instead of just not saying anyrhing?
Welcome to 4chan.

Consider joining a national origami society that published a regular magazine. If English is your favored lanaguage, there is the British Origami Society and OrigamiUSA. Sometimes you can find copies of their magazines online.

why didn't he publish tiger, zero plane & deer?

>>565851
He just didn't. Ask him if you really want to know.
>>
>>565851
in all honesty its probably because they got leaked. his models are usually the selling points of tanteidan mags and convention books, if they included models that most everybody has already folded, it would probably sell way less.
or hes saving it for his next book. maybe hes trying to make a book thats not 90% already published diagrams, with only 1 new model.
>>
Mariano shitvalo leaked the diagrams and made tutorials out of them. The guy is a money hungry snake. I hope he dies in his sleep tonight and rots in hell
>>
>>565854
were there actually official diagrams for his tiger? all ive seen were the fan made ones which werent great

>>565862
The link was taken down a while ago. I am sure the tiger is gonna be the "star model " of his 3rd book

Looks similar to Robert Lang's tarantula. But I can't see the author because letters are too tiny.
Hoping for a diagram if it's from another!
>>
>>565973
It is a CP for the tarantula, which is a model by a (probably) Japanese folder - 4 ideograms for the name.

That's called motivation and training, but you might call it with another name.
>>
>>565999
If you do please help me out. I can fold complex models but CPS are a big no. I have no idea how these guys fold a bunch of lines into a finished model
>>
>>566009
It's all just mountain & valleys.
>>
>>565901
That would be a pretty weak star model. I don't think we've seen the diagrams for the actual star model, but since he usually uses his uber popular ones, it's probably going to be something like his alduin or wasp, we already have many great striped tiger diagrams, I can't see him putting that model as the selling point of his book.
>>
>>566018
Does any of you have any proof that Satoshi is writing a new book?
>>
>>566021
Someone should ask him about it in 3 weeks during the Tanteidan Convention.
>>
>>565901
He should work on a head of his tiger. It looks weird.
>>
>>566018
The only reason why he won't include it in the book is because a lot of people have already folded it .I saw a ton of renditions on flickr. Same with his zero fighter and deer. Diagrams leaked and tutorials already exist as well. I honestly think he probably isn't going to write a new book anytime soon . He will probably keep contributing to tanteidan magazines and stuff. And honestly speaking, his recent models aren't as good as his old ones but that is just my opinion >>566023
The head is amazing what are you talking about ? Easily the best tiger design we have

Here is a preview of the Tanteiden Convention 24 book. It has not been published yet.
http://www.origamihouse.jp/book/original/orizusyu24/orizusyu_24_e.html
>>
>>566025
Damn, with the chain and everything? There's no CP out there for this is there? Cause I'd love to fold this thing.

>>566026
Yeah, honestly that one looks nicer than Kamiya's, and its actually nice to fold. You almost never see a model that detailed/nice where the diagrams have less than a page of pre-creasing.

Komatsu is my favorite designer for sure, and his tiger might be my favorite origami model ever.
>>
>>566025
i remember reading somewhere that the model was folded from a 2:1 rectangle, so the cp might be weird. idk though, still impressive
>>
>>566041
It's definitely folded from more than one sheet. The chain part gave it away
>>
>>566041
It's from 7 sheets.
>>
>>566044
You have cp ?
>>
That bicycle is 7 sheets. Try to make jason kus it is from 1. Doesnt matter what was folded tiger, plane. Its nice to have the models in 1 collection, so its ultimately his decision.
>>
>>566052
how to fold it from 7 sheets though? Ku's bicycle is impossible to fold without glue
