In the latest video, Deki says that Dnepropetrovsk factory that was destroyed by an IRBM Hazel missile was UNDERGROUND!
Apparently, Ukraine was hiding their missile production deep underground. Hazel IRBM MIRVs penetrated really deep before exploding.

Once in the sauna, once her whole towel dropped when she was trying to get me to go to sauna, and third time she changed her shirt in front of me. I also saw my father in laws balls when he was wearing a Speedo and we were working out in the yard, so maybe it’s the norm with them.

All of those and shitloads of pierogi and golubyets. Can’t remember how to spell the second one but it’s meat wrapped in cabbage leaves. Gain weight every time I visit.

We are going to homeschool our son and will basically teach him duel curriculum in both languages. Planning on buying an apartment in my wife’s hometown to spend summers there once the war ends so he never grows apart from his Russian identity.

I am confused about the long range missile authorization Biden signed off on. The media said he only authorized it on RU and DPRK military assets in Kursk oblast. But the actual strike they did was a town all the way in Bryansk oblast (pic related), which is significantly closer to Moscow oblast. It's the Franco-Brits that hit Kursk with their Storm Shadows a couple of days later (and tbey haven't mentioned any restrictions at all). So where's the line, really?

Start looking up some Russian dishes, anon, and either asking your wife or MIL to cook them. Obviously ask politely and as something like a treat because it may take them more time. Compliment the hell out of their cooking and experience the breadth of Russian cuisine. It's an interesting mix of Europe, Asia, and very old-fashioned cooking. Ask your wife about these:
-cыpники
-кoтлeты
-бopщ
These are the basic, imo. If you feel like giving her (your wife, not your MIL) lots of oral sex as thanks then ask her to make you Salad 'Olivye' for New Year's celebration. I say this because it involves A LOT of dicing vegetables and is very laborious to make (but you make a whole tub so it lasts a while).

Also memorize how to pronounce this and next time you are drinking with your wife raise a glass with this toast: "Зa пpeкpacных дaм!"

She'll like it. You can trust me. Я Pyccкий.

My best guess is that she was shit-testing you anon. In the "are you going to ogle me and maybe cheat on my daughter eventually" kind of way. Hopefully you turned your eyes away. Older Russian women are usually quite modest even if they are comfortable around you if they are not a быдлo. She's certainly old enough to not let a towel slip in the sauna if she doesn't want to.

That will be a pain in the ass for the simple reason that it will still require looking after and maintenance when you are away. Only do this if you/your wife and kid will spend to spend 1-2 MONTHS in Russia each year. If it's only a few weeks then it'll be easier to share a room or get a hotel. I would not recommend this action, but that's just me.

This thing has a post-boost vehicle - a missile bus. After the boost phase, the missile bus - it has its own propulsion system - can make fairly substantial maneuvers, relative to - say - an imaginary test mass that continues on the same trajectory the missile attained at burnout. The PBV can move several kilometers relative to this point - it's a matter of relative motion - so that the reentry vehicles end up spaced out. This is why there is a delay between the first and last RVs.

if those nuts drop at mach 10 as they claim, they don't need explosives to bunker bust nothing. that was probably what got them pissed. and did they not claim that they put a kinetic warhead on it. i thought that meant they put a really heavy canon ball on it, but apparently there's way more advanced crap out there that's been researched for ages now

>>489214257
Because the (let's say it's the second) stage is what actually finishes the job of accelerating the RVs to burnout speed. At burnout, therefore, it's travelling at the same speed, and on the same trajectory, as the warheads. It'll therefore land in the vicinity.

Why would it cause a large, bright explosion? Well, at these sorts of speeds (several kilometers a second), the specific kinetic energy (kinetic energy per kilogram - it's given by 1/2*v^2) is comparable to the energy density of high explosives. In other words, the kinetic energy is enouogh to make a big splash.

OK, but while the warheads from the rocket had impressive lights coming down the actual 'touchdown" was a very small flash (leading credence to the theory that there either was no warhead or they somehow penetrated underground).
Why would there be a big flash from the second stage that's bigger, but empty of fuel, that was mirrored in the cloud cover for so long?

Not picking a fight; just doesn't make sense to me. My money is on those being a 2nd and 3rd rockets.

But anyway - I lazed out on actually doing the calcs for an elliptical orbit (it's late and I'm tired, and I don't have scientific computing software on this PC and so on), but we don't need to. Given that the flight range is 1500 km or 2000 km, we don't actually subtend that big an arc - that is, we cover only a small portion of a great circle. We can therefore just assume that we are moving over a flat, non-rotating Earth, and use this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Range_of_a_projectile

Applying the equation d = v^2*sin(2*theta)/g, where d is the ground range, v is the launch velocity, theta is the initial flight path angle (angle above the horizontal), and g = 9.80665 m/s^2, for v = 4200 m/s and theta = 60°, I get 1558 km. 4200 m/s/343 m/s (the latter is the speed of sound at standard sea level conditions) is about Mach 12.

Yes. Specifically the Derry Brigsde of the IRA was run by MI5. The bomb maker was a Para, seconded to them. The Commander and Sargent & Arms were both career MI5.
One of their bombs killed or crippled a police woman and the Para got a severe case of guilt and wanted out. He went AWOL just in time, as head office ordered the other two to kill him to clean up loose ends. After the peace deal the Para went to the Guardian and gave them the story, the Guardian's investigative journalists interviewed the other two , who were now retired and they confirmed the story.
This has been completely memoryholed. I suspect a D Notice was issued and / or when the Guardian was raided for the Snowdon files and all thwir harddrives were taken they were told to delete it or die, like the Westminster pedophile dossier journalist who committed suicide with two shots to the back of the head, or the Kincorra boys's home investigative journalist shot dead 'by the IRA', last seen alive in a special branch van.
Gerry Adam's was also controlled by MI5 at the end, his brother was a pedophile and MI5 protected him and blackmailed Gerry. The protties were no better. Leadership in both factions were homo pedos.

Soon after the United States began testing the new type of weapon, Stalin ordered the construction of the bunker to serve the senior leadership of the country. As such, it was highly confidential and security restricted—pedestrians walking nearby had little idea of what was hidden under their feet.

You're referring to https://files.catbox.moe/wi5key.mp4; I climbed up, quote by quote, to find the video - it's neat! - to see.

The events at about the 48-second mark aren't e.g. warheads deployed by another missile or something; if the Russians had used more than one Oreshnik, there'd be footage and we'd have heard about it. After burnout, the reentry vehicles, the PBV and the spent (presumably) second booster stage all travel at an average speed (since they're on a ballistic trajectory, the speed is constantly changing) of more than 3 km/s - terminal speed is more than 4 km/s. Given the delay between the submunitions and the event at 48 s is about 30 s, this implies that the submunitions and whatever caused the event at 48 s are - since they're travelling at the same speed on the same trajectory - are separated by about 100 km. I think it's quite plausible for a PBV to achieve a large separation from the final booster stage after it deploys. What's more, the booster stage - being lighter and larger than a reentry vehicle - is much more susceptible to aerodynamic drag, so in the last few seconds, it would tend to fall behind yet further. As for what produced that first bright flash - well, as we saw with the submunitions, just a reentry at high speed is enough to produce a spectacular effect and light up the clouds. That small second flash is probably something else reentering associated with the same missile reentering. Perhaps - to give one example, which admittedly I'm not too confident in as an actual explanation - the final booster stage partly broke up at altitude and the second flash is produced by a large bit of debris.

Oh yeah, I remember there being some new footage from there being shared here some weeks back.
Welp, I would assume the russian army is doing it with a purpose in mind, who knows. I don't see what's the actual situation on the front.
I personally would assume that IF they were truly going for the city for some reason, they would go for the road connecting the city to Orechov and then try to isolate the main logistical road connecting it to to Pokrovskoye. Seems it's, along with the V. Novosilka, the main logistical supplier to everything in-between them (i.e. all those fortifications and strongholds in picrel). But don't take me for anything else other than an armchair general here.

These are huge factories. You can't go much deeper than this because there's a probability things might cave in. I'm doubtful it's deeper than even 100 ft. But they're definitely underground and they got REKT by Hazel for sure.

Remember when Israel killed Hassan Nasrallah? They used 80 bunker-buster JDAMS. Insane.
Yet this one missile took out a huge factory.

I think that Russians didn't take it out before because it was too difficult and expensive to do so. I'm guessing they probably thought they'd need over a dozen Kinzhals to destroy it.

I never implied or claimed that there was a second Oreshnik; just a second missile of whatever kind. My guess is that missiles of different kinds were involved in the same strike on the military plant

Let's not celebrate too early. We haven't even seen any leaked images/vids of the damage in the daylight.
It's actually pretty hard for a missile (as opposed to a FAB) to destroy a building because they have comparatively much less payload by weight. So you either use cluster munitions on the hope of shredding everything in the area (man or machine) or you hope to get lucky with secondary explosions/out of control fire.

But that's just the opinion of a gay retard on the internet :)
>>

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevaline

Note the reference - in picrel - to the Chevaline PAC dispensing various penaids into a threat tube "150 miles long." Other sources have it at 100 km long:

https://www.google.com/books/edition/Global_Instability_and_Strategic_Crisis/GyxsPwjvwpUC?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22Threat+tube%22&pg=PT155&printsec=frontcover

Mind you, this is for a longer-ranged missile than the Oreshnik, but the flight times are still generally comparable, and the Chevaline's PAC would have to have been able to successfully operate over a variety of trajectories at various ranges. This is to show that it's plausible for a post-boost vehicle to considerably space out the warheads it carries, both with respect to each other and with respect to the final booster stage.

Another thing occurred to me - you'd expect the ignition of all the propellants in the second stage would produce a spectacular explosion. Well, a good deal of the energy of the propellants, even if they've been burnt, is still present in the empty second stage, in the form of the kinetic energy of the latter. Not all, mind you - a good deal of it ends up in the exhaust gasses - but some. That's another way of describing what the source of the energy to produce that last bright flash is.

Since it's presumably solid-propellant, the casing is very sturdily constructed; it might hold together until a fairly low altitude. The air doesn't get really dense until rather late. Plus, what would a stage burning up on reentry look like? It might be expected to produce a very bright, and fairly long-lived, flash at high altitude - rather like what we see.

By the way, even if an object burns up on reentry, that doesn't mean it just vanishes into thin air. A good deal of debris might still reach the surface.

At Dnepro?
Then that gives some credence to my guess as to what we saw on the video clip I uploaded.
>initial Oreshnik strike
>followed by "conventional" cruise/ballistic missile hits
>>489216519
>purely kinetic penetrators softening target for the big boom later
How would it be "softened"? Any earthworks on top would just collapse down again. People inside might be dead and this new "roof" will not be as sturdy as before, but it will still prevent much of the surface explosion from traveling down.
>last flash looks like a secondary detonation from whatever was hit.
Secondaries are usually immediate. They happen right away or maybe a few second later. So this would be... some kind of underground fire that traveled quickly to reach stockpiles of explosives that were not detonated by the initial hit... All that in 30 seconds?
Sounds a little sussy-wussy to me, sempai, but I'm just a nigger with a rocket launcher.
>>489216586
Penaids on Oreshnik sounds like overkill, but I never knew about Chevaline; thank you for the link.
What I think might be throwing me off is the brightness of the flash due to low cloud cover and grainy footage. It's clear that something else enters the view a frame or two before the big flash. It's entirely possible that your theory of the last rocket stage causing this is correct. If so: talk about adding insult to injury!

>Penaids on Oreshnik sounds like overkill, but I never knew about Chevaline; thank you for the link.
Penaids are a useful thing to have in general. Leaving that aside, the reason I mention Chevaline and the penetration aid carrier is because the latter is the same sort of creature (in the sense that a weasel is not unlike a badger, say) as whatever post-boost vehicle is on the Oreshnik; besides providing a general sense of what the latter is like, it's to provide an actual number for the separation distance you might achieve between the first and last submunition.
>It's entirely possible that your theory of the last rocket stage causing this is correct. If so: talk about adding insult to injury!
The final stage of the missile will follow the warheads - it has to - and it will land in their general vicinity.

There is a secondary explosion right after big flash at ~48 sec mark in video, looks tiny compared to the big one.
It's not just dirt to contend with, a bunker will have a THICC heavily reinforced concrete roof as well.
Hypersonic kinetic penetrators would be the single best tool to use for softening that.
Depending on the volume of the bunker complex, there might not be that much dirt in the way due to structural collapse and filling up whatever volume is below with dirt and debris.

In both of those events, the light source initially appears at high altitude - lighting up the clouds - and then descends. The first event is the booster stage. The second event might be some debris produced when the post-boost vehicle separates from the booster stage.
>>489217289
Spacecraft are fairly lightly-constructed - and I think even then, some satellites produce pretty spectacular effects on reentry, and hold together until a fairly low altitude. Solid-propellant booster stages are very sturdily built; they have to be, given the fact that the pressures inside a solid rocket motor are very high, and the casings are of a quite large diameter. Also, just because an object burns up doesn't mean it somehow magically vanishes in a puff of smoke. Finally, the atmosphere thins out very rapidly with altitude - you might not actually encounter enough air to produce strong aerodynamic heating until quite a low altitude.

https://www.abbottaerospace.com/downloads/naca-report-1381-a-study-of-the-motion-and-aerodynamic-heating-of-ballistic-missiles-entering-the-earths-atmosphere-at-high-supersonic-speeds/

The other US-anon's theory if the late flashes being the rocket's second stage is reasonable. Could also be other cruise missile strikes if they were targeting the same facility. Ultimately we are just having fun guessing based on OSINT.

Also NAFO troons are now claiming this was a "repurposed" RS-26 'Rubezh' missile instead of something new ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Reading plebbit is funny because people are bugging out now that Russia is "le escalating", but the consensus appears to be "we do nothing". How very brave of our NAFO partners...

No, it fucking isn't.
The booster burns up, it has shed it's heatshield when separating in space, it burns up completely on atmospheric re-entry, like all disposable rockets.
Space X made the only real effort to avoid this, and even they have abandoned shielding the boosters now.

The point would be to destroy the structural integrity of the complex to then hit it with an explosive charge, explsosion will exploit any openings left from kinetic penetrators, and there will be some unless it's extremely deep.
>>
>>489217837
The booster stage has a fairly high ballistic coefficient, even when it is empty of propellants - as I said, the casing is very strongly-built, and quite heavy. It's perfectly possible, especially since we're still short of ICBM reentry velocities, for the reentering booster stage to "outrun" the heating. That is, because it reenters at high speed, and because it's pretty streamlined, it doesn't have time to heat up substantially before hitting the ground, and this is without it having the sort of thermal protection a reentry vehicle has. There might actually be some ablative material on the lateral surfaces to protect against heating on ascent, and the casing of the motor has a good deal of thermal mass.

The satellites you're thinking of break up at relatively high altitude because they're not very strongly constructed - this is part of why launch vehicles don't jettison their fairings on ascent until after climbing above a certain altitude. It doesn't take much to get them to break up - even very low dynamic pressures will do it, especially since components like solar panel wings are very fragile.

There's also the warhead block. i.e. the "stage" to which the warheads are attached as they descend from whatever cruising altitude the rocket reached. This block also has propellant and it's the last "non warhead" thing to fall away.

Look at "Post Boost Vehicle" in pic rel. It travels with the warheads until point of separation over target. It then has to fall somewhere.

Anyway, this is all just OSINT speculation. It's fun though!

It's generally called the "post-boost vehicle," or the "missile bus."
>whatever cruising altitude the rocket reached.
With a ballistic missile, "cruising altitude" is a gross misnomer. So is cruising speed. You might say "descend from apogee." Ballistic missiles obey projectile motion, which means that although total energy is conserved, their speed and altitude are constantly changing. Cruising flight is what things like airplanes and cruise missiles do to cover distance; this involves operating at a constant airspeed, altitude, etc. This suits airbreathing propulsion, but it turns out to be a poor match for rockets.

I'll leave you with this:

https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA231552.pdf

It'll give you some idea of the phenomena, and what the most important parameters are.

You don't have to take any special measures for that booster stage to hold together until quite a low altitude, and possibly all the way to ground impact, for reasons which I have already described.

The thermal protection I mentioned might be there for heating on *ascent.* You'll get aerodynamic heating, and especially at high altitude, the plume - which will expand a lot, and which will heat the missile by radiation even at low altitude - might well expand to the point that it directly heats the missile. That's why you might provide ablative TPS for the upper stages, even if they're not intended to survive reentry. You might well also have insulation on the exterior of the missile airframe in order to protect the missile from temperature variations during storage and transportation and so on.

>having an explosive change to go off after the obstacle was passed through would still benefit to dealing more damage in the closed rooms underground
that's true probably the kinetic projectiles (assuming i'm right) did have explosives inside, unless the heat of re-entry would cause those explosives to ignite which is a possible reason to keep it purely kinetic
just spit-balling

we need to know how big the missile and warhead is, but looking at the launch video, it's probably huge, so probably we are both right and these are kinetic projectiles, glide vehicles, with explosives

The cap is all that needs ablatives, and that is dumped in the sub-orbital part of the flight.
Literally no reason for the body to be shielded, only negatives to do that, it won't be re-used.
Big boom could be bus, if it uses an older HGV, but I'm assuming this is the new one, with this being somewhat confirmed as Oreshnik.

Maybe Russia's "Federal District" is a good comparison? I dunno.
States have their own complete government in place with whatever local variations people chose or arose historically. This includes the courts. These governments are subservient to the Federal Gov in all matters, but can pass their own laws in matters where the Feds do not have an opinion or have left the choice up to the states.
In other words it's a bunch of "mini countries" (but not really). Hence why USA is a "republic" that uses democratic systems and not a "democracy".

The joke i made about "state lines" is a reference to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. It's mocking the retarded assertion that having Kyle cross a state line meant jack-fucking-shit in the scope of what happened in Nigger-nosha.

You are welcome to ask more questions. Even if I am gone to answer I am sure other US-anons will be happy to chime in. Americans love talking about their country!

The guesstimated height of the clouds above the factory was 2km. The distance to the ground was covered in about half a secound which gives a speed of ~4 km/s which would be mach 11, give or take a bit.
So it adds up…

no way, rods from god are meant to wreck shit with sheer kinetic energy they acquire from mass and speed - no such thing was visible in the vids.

Northern Ireland was being deindustrialized to meet EEC (now EU) requirements. Harland & Wolf shipyard, Vickers tank works, Shorts aircraft to name a few. At the same time the fishermen were screwed out of their cod fishing grounds to satisfy Iceland. Dumping free trade with the Commonwealth for EEC protectionism cut off cheap meat and wheat and destroyed export markets for manufactured goods such as cars and warships. British Steel went bankrupt Energy prices had skyrocketed due to America dropping the gold standard immediately devaluing its dollar.
Expensive food, can't afford heating, jobs going away for good, trade shutting down, meglomaniacs in Brussels destroying industry and America causing world wide inflation through momey printing.
The British needed a good limited war to divert the plebs attention away from the treasonous decisions they had made. They also ran fear campaigns about Russia invading NATO and nuking England. See the mini series Threads for an example.
Funny how nothing has changed in 50 years.

They are hypersonic you dumb nigger.
Just a Kinzhal has more kinetic energy than the explosive energy from a Kalibr.
What we see in the video is roughly the equivalent of 36 inert Kinzhals.
